Drugs Are Your Enemies, Here’s Why

Statistics have shown that drug addicts become accustomed to their destructive patterns during their teenage years. That period is when they feel a rush of freedom and a willingness to explore. Apart from youthful exuberance, factors such as lack of love at home, a broken home, and mental, physical, and sexual abuse can ignite the need to latch onto a habit like drug abuse.

No one with a poor mindset can accurately analyze the disadvantages of drug use. If only they knew that drugs are natural enemies and that becoming addicted is the number one problem they should free themselves from, maybe, just maybe, they would reconsider becoming users.

One of the first things drugs attack is your state of mind and physical health. Not only do you become irrational, but your consumption of cocaine, cannabis, and other opioids leaves you looking like a deadbeat. Even though some argue that cannabis has calming effects and is derived from plants, it makes one susceptible to schizophrenia. Drug use also damages your teeth and leads to other facial defects.

If you think you can endure the physical and mental implications, what about the broken relationships? Using drugs opens you up to a different form of reasoning, which often conflicts with that of your loved ones. Since drugs create addiction, all you will be thinking about is how to buy more rather than pursuing a healthy or positive lifestyle.

Moreover, using drugs makes it impossible to lead a purposeful life. It affects productivity, and you become useless to your family and friends. Nobody will want to turn to such a person for help or suggestions.

Know today that drugs are indeed your enemies, and no matter how enticing they may appear or the short-term soothing effect they provide, you are more valuable by staying away from them!
