Dylan Sprouse Was Body-Shamed as a Boy, Says Kim Rhodes, But He Grew Up Beautifully

As a young boy with his life ahead of him, Dylan Sprouse was body shamed, not by strangers. This unfortunate incident happened where he could have been protected. Kim Rhodes, his on-screen mom, says she fought for him at the end of the day.

Kim Rhodes Talks How Vulnerability In Vulnerable Podcast — She Stood Up For Dylan Sprouse

While speaking into her mic on Vulnerable podcast, Kim Rhodes reflected on her journey as a mom to twins. The actress who starred in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody said Dylan Sprouse was body-shamed on set.

According to her story on Page Six, the difference between Dylan and his twin brother was highlighted.

She quipped:

“Dylan and Cole had different body types. And in front of everyone, Dylan was body-shamed.”

Now 54, she still reflects on the painful words from the exec. Rhodes explained that the exec had screamed at craft services to remove all junk food after noticing doughnuts around. He then glanced at Dylan, adding that he must look like Cole, the thinner twin.

But being a mom in front of the camera was not only what she was about. Kim Rhodes shared in the Vulnerable Podcast that she defended Dylan.

In her words:

“I was like, ‘You do not have the right to say that to a child. You do not have the right to be writing for children if that is your attitude. Never again do you speak like that. Never.”

Dylan Returned The Favor After Rhodes’s Body Shame Fight

Despite being young, Dylan never forgot Mama Bear. According to Rhodes, the young man returned the favour when he was asked to poke fun at her. He had been instructed to leverage her appearance during her real-life pregnancy and pull a fat joke.
