Police arrested a young man accused of setting a bar on fire using a Molotov cocktail, killing eleven people, the NY Post reported. Authorities say the man was kicked out of the bar earlier for being disrespectful to the women there.

The attack occurred at a bar in the northern Mexican border city of San Luis Rio Colorado on Saturday. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, was reportedly

“highly intoxicated”

before being thrown out for his impertinent behavior. The man then returned to the establishment and tossed a kind of Molotov cocktail at the doors of the bar, according to a statement from prosecutors in the state.

11 people dead including four women and four more people were injured. According to state attorney general, Gustavo Romulo Salas, one of the women who was killed in the attack was a US citizen,

“probably a dual Mexican national,”

he said.
