Our brave and adventurous cat is back on our screens in an adaptation of Garfield (2004). This new Garfield movie is an animated comedy film set to be released on May 24th, 2024.
Starring Chris Pratt and Samuel L. Jackson, side by side as father and son, this animated feature is directed by Mark Dindal. The film was previously scheduled for release on February 16, 2024.
Our famous introverted cat, known for his love of lasagna and couch, is about to step out and venture into a new horizon with an outdoor adventure. It is a long-lost father and son reunion between Garfield (Chris Pratt) and his father, a shabby, down-and-out cat named Vic (Samuel L. Jackson).

Garfield and Odie, his pooch, set out on an adventure that takes them out of their pampered and easy life, joining Vic in a high-stakes yet hilarious and exciting heist.
The trailer begins with a scene of young Garfield seeking cover in the shade on a cold and rainy night. Just across the street, there is an Italian restaurant. With his hungry eyes fixed on the restaurant, Garfield carefully avoids being hit by moving vehicles and makes his way to the window where Jon Arbuckle is dining alone.
On the other hand, Jon, feeling lonely, carefully glances through the room. Everyone in the restaurant has company except him. Suddenly, Jon spots Garfield through the window. Jon offers Garfield some of his pizza, letting the cat in through the window. The duo instantly clicks and becomes an inseparable pair.
