Is it weird that audiences who will die to watch their favourite star perform end up throwing stuff on stage? In recent times, artists have been hit with items during their performances. Expectedly, it should stir concern as it has fast become a trend. So it comes as no surprise that Grammy winner Adele touched on the issue.

Adele Says People May Have Lost Their Manners

The “Hello” singer did not mince her words during her show at The Colosseum in Las Vegas. Following her performance, the Grammy winner singled out a pressing issue.

As per People, she said:

“Have you noticed how people are forgetting [expletives] show etiquette at the moment. People are throwing s— on stage. Have you seen that?: I [expletives] dare you — I dare you to throw something at me. I’ll [expletives] kill you.”

This comes after a string of entertainers were hit on different occasions while on stage. The list ranges from Ava Max, Bebe Rexha, Kelsea Ballerina, Sexxy Red, Air Lennox, and even Drake! Yes, that’s right, Drake.

A Host Of Entertainers That Their Audience Threw Stuff At On Stage: Sexxy Red In Chicago

Audiences who throw stuff at performers on stage have received different reactions. Some celebrities decided to walk away, others addressed it, and for some, it nearly turned into a boxing contest.

In June, Sexxy Red made XXL headlines for leaving the stage during her Chicago performance at the Lyrical Lemonade’s 2023 Summer Smash Festival. The 25-year-old first warned her audience, before making it for the exit.

Bebe Rexha Got Hit In the Eye and Needed Medical Attention

One of Bebe Rexha’s family members told Rolling Stone that the singer was left in stitches in June. This happened after a 27-year-old male from the audience threw a cell phone at her on stage during her NYC concert.

After his arrest, his defence was:

“I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny.”

Sadly, it was not funny, leaving Rexha with a red eye. In the end, the assailant was charged with two counts of assault.

Drake Gets Underwear, Books, Shoes and Cellphones— It’s An Entire Ladies’ Store!

Drake, who was recently thrown a book during his “It’s All Blur” Tour, has found it challenging to avoid the scenery. In July, a woman threw a 36L bra as a souvenir. The following month, a TikToker celebrated her body transformation by throwing her oversized underwear at Drake.

According to UNILAD, Stephanie Valentine was star-struck when the rapper picked up her underwear, which landed on stage. She later shared how confident she has become since the weight loss. Surprisingly, Valentine got the cheers and “awws” from commenters on TikTok.

Drake’s reaction following his audience throwing stuff on stage has been hilarious. The rapper has had to strike a deal with fans. At his Detroit concert, he was serenaded with tons of underwear from fans. Much later, they began throwing shoes and phones. This led the God’s Plan crooner to appeal to them to throw just underwear.

As per Marca, Drake took out time to clean up the stage while he quipped

“I feel like I’m on cleanup duty.”

Air Lennox Wanted To Face Her Hit-Man Who Threw Stuff At Her From The Audience

Just this week, singer Air Lennox received the same treatment, but a fan tossed a water bottle this time. However, the artist refused to bargain; instead, she fished out the perpetrator and wanted to begin a fight. Thankfully, her bodyguard led her away from the scene.
