Despite their expertise, Halle Berry & Angelina Jolie, who are scheduled to co-star, did not have a smooth sail. Berry confessed to Variety during her attendance at the Red Sea Film Festival. She said:
“We had a rocky start and I think that is going to serve us well in our screen time together.”
Once they found a way around a relationship, Berry became influenced to work with another woman. In her words, she would want to “work with another woman and craft a story with our sensibility and from our point of view. She is formidable.”
How Halle Berry Bonded With Angelina Jolie Over Their Past
Berry declined, explaining what really went down. She was more concerned about the aftermath of their rocky relationship. The Cat Woman said that they found a common ground. Surprisingly, it was their past hurts that made them bond.
“We’ve been talking a lot about divorces and exes,” she shared. “We bonded, let’s say that,” she said.
Berry, currently in a relationship with artist Van Hunt, has been divorced three times. Her first marriage was to baseball player David Justice. This union lasted for about four years. The 57-year-old later met and married Eric Benet, whom she left in 2003. In 2013, Berry married Oliver Martinez; they welcomed a son, Maceo, and divorced in 2016.
Like Berry, Jolie has had three significant relationships. Her first was with actor Jonny Le Miller before moving on with Billy Bob Thornton. She later became inseparable from her Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star, Brad Pitt. But the pair have since engaged in a nasty divorce.
