According to reports by Forbes, Adam Sandler has become the highest-earning Hollywood actor of our time, thanks to the success of the Netflix movie
‘Murder Mystery 2’,
and has claimed the number one spot on the newly published Forbes list. A remarkable entry on the list is the 33-year-old Australian actress, Margot Robbie, who happens to be the youngest person to earn second place, with a staggering $59 million or £46.3 million.
Tom Cruise, renowned for his action-packed performances, secured the third spot, thanks to the latest installment in the
“Mission: Impossible”
films and continuing streaming revenues from the hit film
“Top Gun: Maverick”.
Ryan Gosling, who starred alongside Robbie in
“Barbie”
as Ken, earned $43 million (£33.7 million), making him another top earner on the list.
Jennifer Aniston, Sandler’s co-star in the “Murder Mystery” series, also made it to the top 10, earning $42 million (£32.9 million). Leonardo DiCaprio and Jason Statham tied for seventh place, earning $41 million (£32.2 million) each through their respective co-productions of
“Killer of the Flower Moon”
and
“Fate of the Furious”.
Ben Affleck, who acted and directed the sports film
“Air”,
landed in ninth place with earnings of $38 million (£29.8 million). Denzel Washington, the only black representative and the oldest among the stars, finished in tenth place with earnings of $24 million (£18.8 million).
