A homeless man in Pacoima, Los Angeles was struck by three drivers who failed to stop, leaving him there to die, as captured by a security camera owned by a local business. NBC Los Angeles reports that the incident took place on Friday night in the San Fernando Valley community.

Shortly before midnight on Friday, a light-colored pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction on San Fernando Road collided with the victim as he was crossing the street, according to the police. The impact caused the man to fall, but he was seen trying to get back on his feet.

“He was breathing…He was trying to get up. And, even after then, he was hit again on the other side of the street,”

said Khalil.

“What would they have thought if that was one of their family members? I don’t know what kind of souls these people have, but I’m guessing they don’t.”

The man was later hit by another driver operating a light-colored SUV. The force of the impact caused the victim to fly several feet away. Shortly after, a dark-colored SUV struck the man, seemingly dragging him along, as reported by Amgad. Amgad said he did not initially witness the accidents but rushed over to help when he saw the video footage.

“I walked up to him, put the light on him. He wasn’t breathing,”

Amgad told the outlet.

The man, believed to be in his 20s or 30s, frequently walked around the neighborhood with a blanket, according to Amgad.

As of now, there have been no reports of any arrests made in connection with this incident.
