Inside Out 2 Releasing This Year

It’s official, Inside Out 2 is set to be released in the summer of 2024. The first film premiered in 2015 and mainly focused on the experiences of a young girl named Riley. The story delves into her mind, where her emotions are personified, and explores the highs and lows of growing up.

Fans of the first film were thrilled to discover that a sequel was in the works. Pixar had secretly been working on its development for years. Additionally, Former cast members Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis will be returning to reprise their roles as Joy, Sadness, and Anger. Joining the cast are Tony Hale and Liza Lapira, who will be taking on the roles of Fear and Disgust, replacing Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling. Lastly, Maya Hawke will also lend her voice to the character of Anxiety in the sequel. The voice actors for the three other new emotions, Embarrassment, Ennui, and Envy, have not yet been announced.

The Inside Out 2 trailer gives us a sneak peek into Riley’s journey through adolescence. Anxiety joins the mix of emotions, including Embarrassment, Ennui, and Envy, as Riley navigates her identity, friendships, family, and school, and experiments with things that may not sit well with others, much like many teenagers do. It’s an exciting and relatable story.
