Inside Viola Davis and George Clooney’s Special Friendship

Viola Davis has some truly touching relationships with many iconic names in Hollywood.

While her relationship with Octavia Spencer is her most famous, George Clooney and Viola Davis have maintained a great relationship since working together.

Although Viola and George have very different upbringings, the two bonded while filming three different movies. Viola and George built a friendship on set, and George even let her use his home for her honeymoon.

They co-starred in 1998’s “Out of Sight,” as well as “Solaris” and “Syriana,” for which George won a Best Supporting Actor award.

In a January 2012 interview, George Clooney and Viola Davis were featured discussing the famed awards. The two were frontrunners that year for Best Actor and Best Actress. George was nominated for “The Descendants,” and Viola was nominated for “The Help.”

Viola and George’s longtime friendship isn’t as public as some of George’s other Hollywood connections.

The two have plans to work together in the future.
