Following the incident concerning his health last April, Jamie Foxx is reportedly healthy and back on set. The Oscar-winning actor was recently spotted filming in Atlanta on Saturday with co-star Cameron Diaz. The duo is reportedly working on the Netflix action-comedy film, ‘Back in Action’.
According to Film News, Foxx’s illness was disclosed by his daughter, Corinne Foxx, on social media in April last year. She announced that the actor had been hospitalized while he was filming; however, the cause of his hospitalization was not revealed.
During his first public appearance in December at the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Cinema and Television: Honoring Black, Latino, and AAPI Achievements, the 56-year-old received a standing ovation while receiving the Vanguard Award for his career and his performance in ‘The Burial’.
“I’ve been through something, I’ve been through some things,” he said in his speech. “You know, it’s crazy, I couldn’t do that six months ago – I couldn’t walk.”
He continued, further highlighting how his illness had given him a newfound respect for his career.
