Jhene Aiko’s car accident in 2022 has come back to haunt her in the form of a lawsuit. The victim is a woman who claimed that the celebrity left her with some damages that have altered the course of her life. Now, the alleged victim wants Aiko to face the music in front of a jury.

Details Of Jhene Aiko’s Lawsuit

In the coming days, Jhene Aiko may be going head-to-head after the lawsuit was filed by a woman named Genelle Ligot. Pop Culture reported claims from the lawsuit, pointing out that the event occurred in July 2022. Both women encountered each other around Ventura Boulevard and Hayvenhurt Avenue in Encino, California. Ligot, who was busy driving her vehicle, pressed the brakes to obey the traffic lights before she was hit from behind.

Unfortunately, the accident ushered in an unsavory new beginning for the alleged victim who sustained injuries. Following the lawsuit referencing the accident with Jhene Aiko, Ligot claimed the incident made life somewhat difficult. She spent money on medical bills, lost wages, and the capacity to earn.

The prosecutor now wants Aiko to dance to her own tunes by seeking damages while asking for a trial in front of the jury. The singer has not uttered a word on whether she is guilty, but fans await her reaction, as Aiko isn’t one to shy away from legal troubles.

Recall that in Aug. 2023, the bird voice and her lover, Big Sean, went heavy on an alleged stalker. The pair asked the court for a temporary restraining order against the man named Ian Craig Lees. They told the court that Lees had frequented her concerts and other events. But the straw that broke the camel’s back was seeing that he gained access to the couple’s home in Pacific Palisades.

Eventually, the pair were not granted their request. However, life seems to have progressed for the duo, who welcomed their first child, Noah Hasani, in 2022.
