Jonathan Majors’s lawyer promises that the actor will clear his name, but will it be done in the upcoming GMA interview? This is a question that can only be answered after the actor sits for the interview.

Jonathan Majors On GMA Interview

Jonathan agreed to have a GMA interview that will be televised to the world. This comes shortly after he was ruled as the guilty party in his sexual assault case. As per VIBE, this tell-all was orchestrated by an agreement between the actor and Disney-controlled ABC News.

ABC presenter Linsey Davis will sit him down, asking questions on the minds of fans and critics. Their discussion will air on January 8. GMA3 will also broadcast other segments of the interview. Other televised episodes will premiere on Davis’s Prime News. Fans will catch more Hulu-exclusive specials on IMPACT × Nightline on January 11.

For now, fans are yet to know what the discussion will entail, but many questions will be answered. Without reference to the interview, his lawyer wrote in a statement:

“Mr. Majors still has faith in the process and looks forward to fully clearing his name.”

Jonathan Majors Guilty Verdict From Jury After Weeks Of Trial

The first big blow struck on Majors was in the earlier months of 2023. He was accused of harassment and assault towards his girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, in March 2023. The actor denied all the claims, emphasizing that Grace was the violent one.

Following a guilty verdict on Dec. 18, Majors’ attorney maintained that the jury seemed less moved by Jabbari’s account of the story. She added via a statement:

“It is clear that the jury did not believe Grace Jabbari’s story of what happened in the SUV because they found that Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause any injuries to her. We are grateful for that. We are disappointed, however, that despite not believing Ms. Jabbari, the jury nevertheless found that Mr. Majors was somehow reckless while she was attacking him.”

Jonathan Sidelined Due to Assault Charges

Sadly, before enough evidence began to circulate, Majors lost major deals. His management dropped him, and other deals, including partnerships, and distanced themselves from the star.

The last straw that broke the camel’s back was the Marvel deal. After years of working with the MCU studios and a budding career, the production dissociated from him. Recall that the 34-year-old had played Kang the Conqueror in the film Ant-Man: Quantuamania, and Loki Series. He was about to pad his resume with a big role in Avengers: Kang Dynasty, but that dream will not come true— at least not now.
