Following the cover tease of Kanye West’s Vulture 1 that got everyone talking, the rapper slashed all prices on his Yeezy store. At first glance, fans were overwhelmed, but then soon realized that there was a clause.
Fans React To Kanye West’s Vulture 1 Merch Slash
Per HotNewHipHop, fans had not expected news of Kanye’s Vulture 1 merch slash, but when it happened, they were overjoyed. According to the Yeezy store online, most of the rapper’s brand was up for $20. Many loyalists had different reactions, with most complaining about the reduction in price.
One fan quipped:
“I was bouta order, but when I saw that shipping is $50, I was like nah.”
Another fan wasn’t happy with the reduction. The commenter wrote:
“I paid $200 for pods, and now they’re $20. Is this a fucking joke?”
A handful of other fans suspected that the price cut was to honor the rapper’s debut album anniversary. This year will make it exactly two decades since the Gold Digger rapper released his first album.
Meanwhile, Ye has been teasing his latest album, Vultures 1. Before the merch sales, he debuted a fresh album cover. Unlike the former, this time, the Jason Voorhees-esque hockey mask donned by a person had been changed from white to black.
