Killers Of The Flower Moon is produced and directed by Martin Scorsese, the film reveals America’s history.

The story is on a series of Oklahoma murders in the Osage Nation, committed after oil was gushing from the ground.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone lead an ensemble cast.

Osage elders staidly bury a ceremonial pipe, mourning the assimilation of their descendants into white American society. Wandering through the badlands of their Oklahoma reservation, several Osage find oil gushing from the ground.

This tribe became wealthy after the exploitation of oil on their lands, but the laws required white guardians to manage their money.

As an admirable and respectable fan of the director, I will say this film is unquestionably and impressively well made. Scorsese’s new film poses isn’t in the sequential plot, it’s the puzzle of its own genesis in the fireside story.

The base of this film is that it spends its run time showing the perpetrators of the Osage murders. With Hale as the conniving architect getting exactly what they want.

An empathetic tale of what the Osage Nation went through in the 1920’s.
