Kodak Black was arrested for cocaine possession, but his lawyer claims that what he had in his possession was Percocet. The lawyer explained that the cops made a wrong charge while sighting their testing experiment on-site.

Kodak Black Arrested

Kodak Black was arrested on December 7 in Florida. The officers confirmed that the entertainer might have passed out from cocaine use as he was found asleep. Once they investigated further, the police recognized a white powder latching onto his mouth. His vehicle also housed a white pebble-shaped substance.

The authorities filed in the report that the rapper possessed cocaine after their test read positive. Eventually, Kodak was charged with possession of illegal substances and tampering with physical evidence.

Kodak Black’s Lawyer Says He Had Percocet Not Cocaine In Possession

Bradford Cohen is willing to defend his client all the way. Kodak Black’s lawyer poked holes in the investigation while amplifying the rapper’s possession of Percocet.
His statement read per WSVN:

“In this latest case, my belief is that the ‘rock’ this officer found when tested will be a Percocet, not cocaine. The test they do is a presumptive test for illegal substances. It just turns blue. There will be a couple of different phases of this treatment in order for him to get better. You have to treat the root problem of the dependency and that’s what is going to happen. We are going to alleviate dependency,”

So far, this side of Kodak Black’s truth has been touted more than once. After settling the bond for his release, the 26-year-old clarified the confusion, explaining that he has never held cocaine but was a staunch user of Percocet.

Last month, Kodak Black’s lawyer asked the court to throw out his prescription drug case. This comes a year after the artist was taken into custody by a Florida Patrol officer.

At the time, he was charged with possessing oxycodone and nearly $100,000 in cash. Like this new case, Cohen informed the world that the cops were wrong again. Allegedly, what they found was never oxycodone but Tylenol.
