Maggie Gyllenhaal’s ‘BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN’ Movie Previews Star-Studded Cast.

The updated remake of the globally commended classic horror film is set to be directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal marking her second editorial feature titled,

“The Bride”.

The film’s legacy and captivating story is sure to provide plenty of inspiration for Gyllenhaal.

The set is stacked with a promising roster of actors and the Director is once again working with the Dark Knight co-star and Academy Award-winning Christian Bale. Peter Sarsgaard, Gyllenhaal’s husband, also earns a starring role in the film.

The Captain Marvel Star and Oscar nominee Annette Being joins Jessie Buckley and Penélope Cruz in the production of this project. Although Cast specifics are still undisclosed, filming is set to begin early this year.

The details of the first story have been shared and the synopsis describes,

“A lonely Frankenstein travels to 1930s Chicago to seek the aid of Dr. Euphronius in creating a companion for himself. The two reinvigorate a murdered young woman and the Bride is born. She is beyond what either of them intended, igniting a combustible romance, the attention of the police, and a wild and radical social movement.”
