Morris Chestnut To Play Dr. Watson In New Sherlock Medical Drama Series “Watson”

Watson follows the life of Dr. John Watson (Morris Chestnut) resuming his duty in the medical field since the death of Sherlock Holmes.

The series follows the life of the famous character Sherlock Holmes. Chestnut will play a prominent role in this

“contemporary story.”

The actor will star as Watson in this upcoming medical drama.

The show is set after the death of Holmes at the hands of his enemy

“Moriarty.” 

Watson resumes being in charge of the clinic dedicated to treating rare conditions. The series will air through television seasons from 2024-2025, with Chestnut also serving as an executive producer and directing the pilot episode.

In this new series, Watson’s past life comes face to face with him, as he is also set to begin a new dilemma with Moriarty. The duo will begin their chapter of a story that intends to fascinate the audience and will have CBS studio as producers.

star has previously been featured in Fox medical drama series

“The Resident,”

and led a star-studded cast of

“Rosewood,”

a Fox series where his character was a private pathologist solving crime in the state of Miami.
