NBC Presents Hilarious Comedy Sitcom, Extended Family

Extended Family is an upcoming family television sitcom created by Mike O’Malley. The TV series is scheduled to premiere on Dec. 23, 2023, on NBC. The series stars Jon Cryer as Jim Kearney, Abigail Spencer as Julia Mariano, Donald Faison as Trey Schultz, Finn Sweeney as Jimmy Jnr, and Sofia Capanna as Grace.

After Jim and Julia go through an amicable divorce, which they describe as

“the happiest day of their lives”,

As they are still close friends and are committed to co-parenting, they decide to continue raising their kids at the family home.

As they navigate the path of divorce and child-sharing, things begin to get more complicated for Jim when Julia’s job as a public relations expert brings her near Trey. Trey is the owner of Jim’s favorite sports team, who falls in love with Julia and wins her heart. Additionally, he proposes to her later becoming her fiancé.

Subsequently, their unconventional family begins to evolve as Jim, Julia, and Trey learn to course through love, life, parenting.
