From the genius of Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu in collaboration with Netflix emerges the upcoming Black American Comedy Action television series. It is set to be premiered on January 4, 2024.
The story follows Charles Sun, a Taipei gangster who’s settled into his life as a ruthless killer, but must go to L.A. to protect his mother and younger brother after his father was shot by a mysterious assassin.
Additionally, Charles must go to L.A. to protect his mother and utterly unaware younger brother Bruce. The life of average Californian Bruce Sun is turned upside down once his older brother, Charles Sun visits Los Angeles.
After having no recollection of his past life in Taipei, Bruce would soon learn about his family’s profession as Taipei’s renowned gangster with his brother being a top criminal raised by his late crime boss father.
He would find out that his mother moved with him to California to build a life away from her estranged family. However, his mother’s effort proved to be useless now as Bruce had to adapt to the gangster life of his family.
