She recalled how the studio rejected her Barbie idea, despite having the support of one of the heads of Barbie. However, Stone expressed gratitude for the progress that has been made since then, recognizing the empowerment of women. The 65-year-old actress has always spoken highly of Margot Robbie‘s portrayal of Barbie in the recent film.
During her appearance on the Lady Gang Podcast, Stone revealed that she would like Margot Robbie to portray her in a biopic, citing Robbie’s talent and her skilled portrayal of Tonya Harding.
