Father Accused Of Killing 3-Week-Old Daughter With Crossbow and Injuring Mom

A New York man has been arrested after he allegedly shot his 3-week-old daughter with a crossbow during an argument with his wife early Monday morning, Fox News reported.

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office arrested Patrick Proefriedt, 26, for the death of his 3-week-old daughter and injuring his wife. According to authorities, Proefriedt got into a verbal dispute with the mother while she was holding the baby early Monday morning. Proefriedt reportedly pulled out a crossbow and aimed it at the woman.

“The broadhead crossbow bolt ‘hit the child in the upper torso, exiting near the armpit’ before hitting the woman in her chest,”

    reports reveal.

The father reportedly tried removing the bolt and begged his wife not to call 911. He quickly fled the scene before police arrived.

The 3-week-old infant, Eleanor Carey, was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said in the press release per Fox News. The woman was treated at a nearby hospital where she remains in stable condition.

Deputies captured Proefriedt less than a mile away from the crime scene. According to authorities, the suspect has a

“history of domestic incidents with the victim”

    and had an

“active Stay Away Order of Protection”

“second-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and first-degree criminal contempt for violating an order of protection,”

    reports note.

“This is one of the most heartbreaking and senseless crimes committed in this community in recent memory,”

Broome County Sheriff Fred Akshar, told the outlet.

“Our thoughts are with the family of this innocent 3-week-old girl. I commend the quick and decisive action of our Law Enforcement division in responding to this tragedy and ensuring Mr. Proefriedt did not escape justice,”

  • LGBTQ Activists Defend Drag Queen Marchers Who Chanted ‘We’re Coming For Your Children,’ Says ‘It’s All Just Words’

LGBTQ Activists Defend Drag Queen Marchers Who Chanted ‘We’re Coming For Your Children,’ Says ‘It’s All Just Words’

It looks like some LGBTQ activists came to the defense of drag queen marchers who yelled

    “We’re coming for your children,”

which is a chant that has allegedly been utilized for years, according to a report, says the New York Post. A story that was published by NBC News revealed how LGBTQ activists say the chant was

    “taken out of context.”

Drag queen marchers yelled the chant at a parade in New York City this month.

The initial organizer of the New York City drag queen parade, Brian Griffin, said to NBC News,

“It’s all just words… It’s all presented to fulfill their worst stereotypes of us.”

NBC quoted LGBTQ activists who claimed the chant had been utilized for years. However, Twitter implemented a community note to NBC’s tweet of the article alleging that there’s no proof of this.

    The note said,

“The news articles provides no evidence of the ‘we’re coming for your children’ chant being done for years at pride nor does it quote specific individuals that make this claim…. This is very irresponsible reporting.”

Yet, the first female chair of New York’s Gay Liberation Front, Karla Jay, informed NBC News that the chant was done in an effort to imitate criticism of the LGBTQ community.

    Jay elaborated, saying,

“The person who said this in a march isn’t the person who came up with this idea — the person in the march is saying, ‘Go ahead, call me this; why do I care? ….The person is trying to destigmatize this and claim their own power. You can’t blame the victims here, and that’s what the right wing is doing.”

The New York City drag queen march showcased signs that said

    “Groom Cisies,”

according to NBC. Last year, marchers yelled

    “groom, groom, groom,”

    according to Gothamist.

    Griffin said,

“These are the words that they’ve used all our lives to manipulate and control us… and we can now own them and see them for the falsehoods that they are.”

According to NBC, marchers have utilized other chants in the past such as

“We’re here, we’re queer, we’re not going shopping,”

which was chanted as a demand for more government support to help the AIDS epidemic.

The outlet reports that two drag queens said the

    “we’re coming for your children”

chant wasn’t the best taste and it only represented a percentage of the LGBTQ community. The organizer for this year’s New York City drag queen march, Hucklefaery Ken said the chant was a

“bad joke that is being used to serve the interests of parasitic, predatory political propaganda and policy.”

Despite the 37-year-old begging to be let in, Fryson refused. The two then began a shouting match. “He was shouting and screaming at her,” said neighbor Justin Sanchez. “She kept shouting back from inside the apartment, ‘I don’t want to talk to you, you piece of s***!’”

After a few minutes of back and forth, Levestone gave up and started walking towards the nearest stairwell, where he frequently slept when he was not allowed inside their apartment. On his way there, he attempted to break neighbors’ Ring cameras as he passed by them. “Now his broke a** is running,” Fryson was heard yelling from behind their apartment’s front door.

They just kept yelling in the stairwell but I don’t know what happened after that. I just heard children start screaming and crying.”

Shortly after, police arrived to find Levestone with stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he sadly succumbed to his wounds. Fryson was arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter, and weapon possession.

New York Man Breaks Into Daycare, Steals Diapers, And Pretends To Be A Baby

A New York man man is now facing charges after breaking into a local childcare center, stealing diapers and formula, and leaving notes with bizarre requests behind, ABC 15 News reported.

It all began January 30th, when employees at a daycare in Clarkson, New York discovered $120, accompanied by a note asking if the center has adult sized diapers and whether or not they’d be willing to “play along” if he pretended to be a baby. After the center’s director notified police about the break-in, they installed surveillance cameras, but staff found a similar note with $200 a few days later.

On February 11th, the director received a notification that the security system had been activated. When she arrived to the center, she noticed that someone had been going through the children’s diaper bins, and that another note along with cash had been left. This time, the intruder included sizes for pants, shoes, bras, and dresses, and asked if he could be called “Baby Danielle.”

A week later, the daycare director went through surveillance footage and saw that an elderly man had been taking apart multiple diapers and piecing them together in order to make one big enough to wear himself, and putting it on in one of the bathrooms before fleeing. She later realized that he had also drank half of a bottle of formula, used one of the children’s bibs, and had stolen multiple diapers.

After being identified, police located and arrested 65-year-old Daniel Seeler, who lives in Holley, a town 15 minutes away. The elderly man immediately confessed to the crimes and claims that he’s working through an addiction. Seeler is charged with burglary and petty larceny, but is no longer in police custody due to being released on an appearance ticket.

Tony D’Agostino, the daycare’s owner, says that the center’s employees had never interacted with Seeler. In order to keep the children and the staff safe, he says he intends to increase security.

Five Young Siblings Die In Fiery New York Car Crash After Teen Driver Loses Control Of Vehicle

A car crashing into a tree in a metropolitan New York area resulted in the death of five children between the ages of 8 and 17, with only one survivor, USA Today reported.

On Sunday morning, at around 12:20 A.M., a Nissan Rouge with six minors from Connecticut veered off the road, crashed into a tree, and caught fire. Four boys and one girl, including the 16-year-old driver, succumbed to their injuries. A 9-year-old, who had been sitting in the vehicle’s hatchback area, escaped from the back. He was taken to a nearby hospital, and is expected to fully recover.

Matt Conway, a superintendent about 50 miles north of Scarsdale in Connecticut, says that all of the victims are from the same family. They had just moved to Connecticut from New York, and their father was in the process of enrolling them into the schools there.

“It’s the unimaginable,” Conway said, according to the AP. “Having to now make arrangements for five of your children to be buried is a very difficult thing for anyone- one child, never mind five, that you’re going to have to now make arrangements for.”
