  • Texas Massage Parlor Shuts Down As City Cracks Down On Prostitution, Reports Say

Texas Massage Parlor Shuts Down As City Cracks Down On Prostitution, Reports Say

A massage parlor in Plano, Texas has been shut down following allegations that it operated as a front for prostitution, as reported by Fox News. The closure comes after the city launched an investigation into the Tennyson Wellness Center on Preston Road and its owner, Diana Zhang, in response to civil claims.

Numerous complaints were made by citizens regarding inappropriate behavior by massage therapists at the center, including unwanted touching and solicitation of sexual services in exchange for money. Plano has taken legal action by filing a petition for pre-suit discovery in Collin County court, aiming to uncover evidence and potentially pursue legal action against those involved in illegal activities, including owners, landlords, employees, and customers.

The city said it is part of a new strategy to

“identify and hopefully end sex crimes committed at massage establishments.”

“We expect that legal actions will be taken against additional massage establishments in the Plano area in the near future,”

the city said in a statement.

Tennessee Mother Reports Her Teenage Sons To Authorities After Spotting Them On A Wanted Poster For Allegedly Shooting At A Police Officer, ‘I Don’t Play No Games’

A Tennessee mother made the tough decision of handing her two sons over to the police after she saw them on a wanted poster for allegedly shooting at a police officer, per the NY Post

“I’m like ‘Are you serious? Aww hell no,’”

the unidentified mother told WMC, remembering the horrific moment when she witnessed her teenage son’s face on a wanted poster from Holly Springs police.

“I don’t play no games with them. If you want to do the crime, you gotta do the time. Plain and simple,”

    she said.

The boys, aged 17 and 18, allegedly attempted to flee the police officer during a traffic stop. After firing two bullets, the suspects ran into the nearby woods on foot. Their faces were captured on a door camera of a nearby residence.

The day after the incident, the mother reported her teenagers to the authorities. Her boys have maintained their innocence, and she has faith that their names will be cleared once the investigation is complete.

“My child does not get in trouble. He don’t bother nobody. They don’t do nothing. All they do is play games. Stay home and play games. This is very new. This is very shocking,”

    she said.

According to a report from WMC, the boys have been charged with committing aggravated assault against a police officer. The police have interviewed a third individual who is considered a person of interest in the case, but they have not been charged yet.

  • Florida Official Accused Of Stealing $100K From 96-Year-Old Victim and Spending On Facelift and New Home, Reports Say

Florida Official Accused Of Stealing $100K From 96-Year-Old Victim and Spending On Facelift and New Home, Reports Say

Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill is currently under investigation after being accused of embezzling funds from a 96-year-old woman, according to The Independent

The allegations suggest that Hill used her position to obtain power of attorney over the elderly victim and subsequently misused the funds for personal expenses, including a facelift, a new home, clothing, car insurance payments, dental surgery, and a lavish New Year’s Eve stay at a Miami hotel. Additionally, it is claimed that Hill accumulated over $10,000 in debt using the woman’s name.

Despite not being arrested or formally charged, Hill is currently under investigation by the state, which began in February 2023 following a tip from a former staffer. Hill first encountered the elderly woman in 2021 due to her

    “poor living conditions.”

Within a short time, Hill took on the responsibilities of power of attorney, pre-need guardian, and healthcare surrogate for the woman, who had a savings account with over $164,000 at that time.

    The woman claims she signed

    “some sort of document”

but did not fully understand their contents. Court documents also assert that the elderly woman did not authorize Hill to utilize her savings to secure a mortgage for a property in the Lake Mann Estates area of Orlando.

It is believed that Hill’s son and girlfriend are residing in the house, while Hill herself lives in a separate residence that was reportedly renovated using a significant portion of the victim’s savings. An Orange County judge has reportedly ordered Hill to refrain from any contact with the woman, who has since appointed a new power of attorney.

Hill, who has served as an Orlando City Council member since 2014, has vehemently denied the allegations.

“I trust in God above all things, and I trust in the process. After ten years of service for the City of Orlando, I’ve illustrated my love and compassion for my constituents, my city, and my family. I know the truth; I know I’m entitled to due process, in which I trust, and I will await my day in court to prove my innocence,”

    she told The Independent.

  • 9-Year-Old Oklahoma Boy Accused Of Harassing and Stalking Classmate, Served With Victim Protective Order At Elementary School

9-Year-Old Oklahoma Boy Accused Of Harassing and Stalking Classmate, Served With Victim Protective Order At Elementary School

A 9-year-old boy from Oklahoma received a victim protective order (VPO) at school after reportedly stalking and harassing a female classmate for several months, reports the NY Post

Undersheriff for Pottawatomi County, Travis Dinwiddie, delivered the order to the student at Horace Mann Elementary School on Wednesday morning, following approval by Judge Tracy McDaniel. The girl’s mother, Elsy Goggin, had filed the petition for the order.

“We served it there because that was the address that was put on the petition by the court… It’s ordered by the courts. And so we have to serve that as officers of the court,”

    Dinwiddie told the outlet.

Before serving the boy at school, the sheriff’s office made sure to inform his family about the situation.

“I’m just shocked because he’s nine years old being served by sheriffs at school,”

Lavonne McCoy, grandmother of the 9-year-old boy, told the outlet.

“I’ve seen her at the store, and she always runs after him playing. And he tries to hide because, you know, he’s nine… I’m not sure why he’s getting in trouble for just being a child because there is nothing on here that says any type of abuse,”

McCoy said. McCoy described the children’s interactions as

“children being children, running around playing.”

However, according to the girl’s mother, Elsy Goggin, the boy has been violent towards her daughter. Goggin told the outlet that she made several attempts to resolve the issue before filing.

“I had to go to this point where I said, enough is enough,”

    Goggin told the outlet.

After being served, the child was sent home. He is to appear in court on April 24, according to the outlet.

In a statement provided to the outlet, Horace Mann Elementary School’s superintendent Dr. Aaron Espolt said,

“We will always cooperate with our law enforcement officials and will work with families to ensure the highest safety standards and protocols are followed.”

Three girls, aged 12 and 13, were arrested in Washington DC this week for their involvement in a brutal attack on a disabled man in 2023, per the NY Post. The incident occurred on October 17, during the late hours of the night.

Disturbing footage showed a group of five girls chasing the 64-year-old victim through an alley and forcibly removing him from a chain link fence. They proceeded to stomp on his head, pulled his pants down, and used his belt to inflict further harm on him. These details were presented in court on Friday, as testified by investigators, as reported by the Washington Post.

The disturbed group allegedly laughed at Brown as he was bleeding from his head, and one of the girls yelled,

    “He’s leaking!”

According to the police, Brown was found dead on the street just before 1 a.m. with severe injuries that indicated he was attacked. The autopsy revealed that he died from blunt force trauma. The police also mentioned that Brown had disabilities and mental health problems.

Detective Harry Singleton testified that a man in his early 20s initiated the attack, grabbing Brown and slamming him into a brick wall. At that moment, the girls were passing by, and one of them asked,

    “Can I fight him?”

    to which he responded

    “Yes.”

One of the 13-year-old girls was taken into custody, but later that night, the 12-year-old girl was shot in her apartment. She suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Neighbors reported seeing two young individuals escape through a broken window. The pre-teen and another girl were arrested. They face second-degree murder charges as juveniles.

Georgia Cemetery Worker Denied Bond After Selling Pre-Owned Burial Plots To Grieving Families

A cemetery worker in Douglas County will remain in jail after being accused of selling burial plots that were already owned by others, per WSBTV. Pamela Teal, who is facing multiple charges including theft by deception and forgery, was denied bond by a judge.

Families affected by this alleged scam claim that Teal pretended to be friendly and supportive, while secretly selling them plots that were already claimed by someone else.

“Well, we thought she was our friend. She befriended all of us,”

Tonya Key said. Key, whose 23-year-old daughter, Faith, died, says Teal has cost them their peace.

“The sheriff’s department uncovered that our plot that our daughter was actually in and the one that my son-in-law actually bought, those belong to someone else,”

    Key described.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Pamela Teal has been found to have sold burial plots to multiple families, including the LaFleur family. The LaFleurs had purchased a plot for their 15-year-old son, Samuel Moon, who tragically lost his life after a Sweet 16 party.

“I still don’t know if Samuel is in this spot where he was buried,”

    LaFleur said.

The sheriff’s office is urging anyone who had any contact with Teal to come forward and contact them.
