Woman Seeks Advice After Revealing That She Just Learned Her Best friend Of 20 Years Slept With Her Husband At His Bachelor Party

A woman from Australia was heartbroken when she discovered that her best friend had slept with her husband during his bachelor party. The distressed wife, who was identified as Sophie, shared her story in a letter to the hosts of the podcast Everybody Has A Secret, per the New York Post

The distraught woman is now seeking advice on how to tell her husband that she was made aware of what occurred as well as informing him that she wants a divorce. She explained what occurred, saying,

“Last week my best friend Maddie admitted to me that she had sex with my husband at his bucks [bachelor] party… As you can imagine, I’m devastated. My husband Tom and I have been married for 18 months and I had absolutely no idea that there were any issues in our relationship, let alone that he was capable of this level of deception,”

    she explained.

Sophie revealed that she and Maddie had been friends for over 20 years and were aware of each other’s sexual partners. Maddie had consistently claimed to have slept with 18 men, but on a drunk night, she slipped up and admitted to sleeping with 19.

“As soon as she said that, I corrected her….She drunkenly said, ‘No, mine is 19’. She clearly realized in that moment she had made a mistake, because she tried to pathetically backtrack, but she was too inebriated to do it convincingly,”

    said Sophie.

Shortly after, Sophie approached Maddie in private and questioned her about being unfaithful to Jack. To Sophie’s astonishment, Maddie tearfully admitted that the 19th man was Sophie’s husband, Tom. Shocked and hurt, Sophie slapped Maddie and left the gathering. Sophie remains clueless about how Maddie ended up at Tom’s bachelor party.

  • TikTok Sues U.S. Government Following Newly Signed Law Banning The App, Says Users First Amendment Rights Are Being Violated

TikTok Sues U.S. Government Following Newly Signed Law Banning The App, Says Users First Amendment Rights Are Being Violated

It appears that TikTok is strongly committed to keeping its presence in the United States. The popular Chinese-owned social media app has recently sued the U.S. government in an attempt to block a newly passed bill that aims to ban the app nationwide. As previously reported, President Joe Biden signed legislation last month that gives TikTok until January 2025 to either sell to an American-approved company or face a ban across the country.

In response, TikTok’s CEO has been clear that the company intends to challenge the bill, which they officially did today (Tuesday, May 6th). TikTok, which is owned by the China-based parent company ByteDance, has filed a lawsuit arguing that the ban infringes on Americans’ First Amendment rights by

“[stifling] their speech and [preventing] them from accessing lawful information.”

“[The US government] has taken the unprecedented step of expressly singling out and banning [TikTok]…For the first time in history…Congress has enacted a law that subjects a single, named speech platform to a permanent, nationwide ban, and bars every American from participating in a unique online community with more than 1 billion people worldwide,”

    the lawsuit states.

US government officials have long advocated for a ban on TikTok due to concerns about Chinese ownership and potential data exposure. Former President Donald Trump has also supported the ban on TikTok, which is now being implemented by his successor. TikTok has filed a lawsuit to challenge the ban in the D.C. Circuit Court, but there is no information on the US response yet.

Authorities in Arizona are currently conducting an investigation into the tragic death of a 13-year-old boy. The incident occurred when Khalil Robinson, along with two other juveniles, was inside a car, People reported.

It is believed that they may have been filming a TikTok video at the time of the shooting. The Sierra Vista Police Department has confirmed the details of the incident, which took place on April 4th in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

“It was possible they were making a TikTok video,” Scott Borgstadt, the department’s public information officer, tells PEOPLE, “but we haven’t been able to confirm it yet.”

  • Expert Warns That Morning-After Pill May Not Be Effective For Millions Of American Women

Expert Warns That Morning-After Pill May Not Be Effective For Millions Of American Women

Millions of American women may find traditional morning-after medication ineffective, according to an expert’s warning, per the NY Post.

Doctor Charis Chambers, known as The Period Doctor online, has addressed the question about weight causing the morning-after pill to lose its effectiveness.

In a TikTok video, Chambers revealed that levonorgestrel morning-after pills, commonly known as Plan B, have shown decreased efficacy based on both the weight and BMI of the user.

Research says that individuals who are overweight or obese are more likely to experience failure with the medication.

Those with a BMI of 25 to 29.9 were twice as likely to experience failure. A BMI of 30 or higher had four times the likelihood of failure.

Weight May Be The Cause Of Ineffective Morning After Pill

Experts caution that the medication may be less effective for individuals weighing 154 pounds or more and may not work at all for those weighing over 176 pounds.

The most effective emergency contraception options for women with a BMI over 30 or weighing over 176 pounds, are the copper IUD or the oral medication ulipristal acetate, Dr. Chambers advises.

The morning-after pill’s effectiveness can be affected by factors like weight, timing of intake, and other medications. It should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex and is most effective within the first three days.

Combining the pill with certain medications is not recommended.

Teenagers Kicked Out Of Boston Sephora Store Following Accusations Of Using Makeup For Blackface

Several teenage girls were recently recorded on camera allegedly using dark makeup to mimic blackface inside a Sephora store in Boston, reports the NY Post

The incident was captured in a viral TikTok video, where three girls were seen trying out makeup testers at the Prudential Center location. Two of the girls covered their faces with cosmetics specifically designed for darker skin tones. The video, which has since been made private, was filmed by Temi Ojora, a track and field athlete from the University of Southern California.

Ojora said the scene made her

    “genuinely so disgusted and disturbed.”

“These group of teenage girls and their mothers come in and go to the makeup section to use the samples for blackface whilst giggling and making animal sounds,”

    Ojora wrote.

“This is the stuff that ruins jobs, college acceptances, let alone how incredibly offensive this is,”

    a staff member says.

The chaperone dismissed the employee and later asked Temi Ojora to delete the video. The identities of the chaperone and the girls remain unknown. Sephora criticized the group for their offensive behavior

“We are extremely disappointed by the behavior of these shoppers at our Prudential Center location, and as such, they were asked to leave our premises,”

the company said in a statement.

“Under no circumstance is this type of behavior tolerated at Sephora.”

Walmart Customer Calls In Bomb Threat Using Cellphone He Found In The Bathroom, Police Say

A Florida man has been arrested after allegedly calling in a bomb threat from a phone he found in a Walmart bathroom, as reported by Law & Crime. The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Coty J. Clements.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office received the call, in which the suspect sinisterly said

    “Tic Toc, Tic Toc,”

    before hanging up.

Authorities searched the store and spoke with the owner of the phone, who explained that he had left it in the bathroom and received a call from 911 on his Bluetooth watch. The phone’s owner was able to track its location and identified the stall where it had been left. Surveillance footage showed the owner leaving the bathroom shortly before the bomb threat call, and then Clements entering and remaining in the facility when the call was made.

Shortly after leaving the store, Clements returned and was apprehended by deputies. During questioning, he confessed to making the bomb threat, claiming that he had seen others doing similar things on TikTok. Clements was arrested and taken to the Charlotte County Jail. He has since posted a $15,000 bond. He now faces charges of providing false information about planting a bomb or weapon of mass destruction.

  • Mother Shocked After Teacher Refused To Let Her Daughter Use Chapstick In Classroom

Mother Shocked After Teacher Refused To Let Her Daughter Use Chapstick In Classroom

A worried mom expressed her disagreement with her daughter’s teacher about her child’s chapstick. She shared a video on TikTok under the username RealityKeck, where she explained that her daughter’s lips were dry, and the teacher had prohibited the use of chapstick.

The teacher’s refusal shocked the parent leading her to text the educator as they then went on to have a back-and-forth about the chapstick being against the school’s policy. The mom messaged the teacher, explaining that her daughter uses chapstick due to chapped lips and a previous infection.

The teacher then responded with a policy out of the parent handbook, she wrote,

”Medication cannot be sent to and from the school by the child.”

Despite the rule naming aspirin and a bunch of other medications, the list did not include chapstick. The mother then replied,

“So my child has to have a signed form by her pediatrician to have chapstick in her backpack?”

The teacher then said that the signed form would allow her daughter to leave the chapstick in the principal’s office, and each time she needed to use it, she’d have to go to the office for use.

    The shocked mother then replied,

“Which means every time my child needs to apply some chapstick she’s got to go to the office to use it which is why I said it would take away from her learning having to go to the office every time she needed to apply chapstick.”

The mother, after further discussion, mentions that her daughter has been at the school for six years without encountering this issue with past teachers. Despite this, the teacher declined to change the rules. In response, the woman suggests suspending her daughter as she will continue to bring chapstick in her backpack.

In a subsequent video, the woman shared that she spoke to the principal who suggested writing a note to the

    “med office”

to keep on record. The principal also mentioned that the chapstick could stay in the office for the daughter’s use. However, the mother disagreed and insisted that her daughter would carry the chapstick with her all day, not leaving it in the office.

  • Woman Leaves Note For Police Officer Who Parked In Her Parking Spot She Pays For, Threatened To Tow The Vehicle

Woman Leaves Note For Police Officer Who Parked In Her Parking Spot She Pays For, Threatened To Tow The Vehicle

A woman discovered an Orlando Police Department officer parked in her designated spot and left a note warning that if the officer continues to park inappropriately, their vehicle will be towed.

A TikTok video by creator Ruby Red (Ruby.Red53) showing a transgression has gained over 327,700 views and sparked a debate with hundreds of comments. In the video, Ruby explains the assigned parking situation and the need to pay for it, with sirens in the background.

Despite Ruby Red’s monthly payment for her parking space, she claims to have frequently encountered the officer’s car parked in her assigned spot. In the video, she said,

“So I’m gonna leave him a little notey-note and let him know that [I’d] hate to have to tow him.”

She later revealed the note that she left for the officer, which said,

“Hey officer, this is my parking space (assigned parking). Please don’t park here. I would hate to have to get your vehicle towed.”

Many TikTok users chimed in, as one person wrote,

“I’m not leaving no note he would have had to pick his truck up from the tow yard.”

    Another user penned,

“call the department and let them know his cruiser number and he won’t do that again.”

“You too nice he woulda never left you no note it woulda been $435 at that yard,”

    said another user.

In a now-deleted subsequent update shared on Wednesday, five days after her initial video, the TikToker mentioned that her approach with a note was successful, and she didn’t need to reach out to her leasing office, a towing company, or the officer’s precinct or sergeant.

Baltimore Mayoral Candidate Sheila Dixon Expresses Concerns About Residents’ Safety On Fox45 Public Safety Town Hall, While Also Being Assaulted During Live Interview At Her Home

A live interview with Sheila Dixon, a Democratic mayoral candidate, was abruptly interrupted when an unidentified person began throwing objects and heckling her while she answered questions.

The incident was posted on TikTok, where it gained widespread attention, with users expressing concern for Dixon.

Dixon, who previously served as mayor of Baltimore from 2007 to 2010 and is now seeking the Democratic nomination for the 2024 election, was being interviewed via video by WBFF Fox45 anchor Patrice Sanders. According to The Baltimore Banner, Dixon had a cold during the interview, which resulted in her speaking with a hoarse voice. She was promoting a public safety town hall, scheduled to take place later that day in South Baltimore, which she was co-hosting with WBFF Fox45 and local Councilman Eric Costello.

As she answered questions regarding citizens’

    “biggest concerns”

over crime, an item, which appeared to be an article of clothing, flew by Dixon’s face slightly brushing her. Remaining calm, she continued to finish her thoughts on the topic. As the incident escalated, Dixon was hit with more clothes, causing her camera to tilt downward. However, she quickly regained control and raised the camera back up.

    Ending the interview Sanders commented,

“We hear that you’re fighting through this, um, so we’re going to let you conserve your voice and we’ll see you tonight.”

TikTok users responded to the video with many concerned for Dixon’s safety. One user commented,

“This is so incredibly sad, I hope she gets safe soon.”

  • TikToker Says She Dumped Boyfriend After Finding Out He Doesn’t Use Toilet Paper

TikToker Says She Dumped Boyfriend After Finding Out He Doesn’t Use Toilet Paper

A TikTok user recently shared a disturbing story about her ex-boyfriend’s bathroom habits. Alexandra Maria Clara, who resides in Tampa, Florida, recounted her experience with her unhygienic former partner in a viral video that has garnered over 900,000 views on the platform.

In the video, Clara revealed that while using the bathroom at her ex-boyfriend’s house, she discovered that there wasn’t any toilet paper in sight. Concerned, she brought the issue to his attention, and he appeared willing to address the problem.

“I said, ‘Hey, you don’t have any toilet paper,”‘

    said Clara.

“And he was like, “Oh sorry,” and I was like, ‘It’s fine.’ For the moment it was OK because I always carry tissues in my purse.”

    She added,

“So I was like, ‘Make sure you pick some up when you go to the supermarket.’ And he was like, ‘Thanks for reminding me, cool,’ or whatever.”

However, when Clara visited her ex-boyfriend’s place a week later, she discovered that he had not replenished the bathroom essential. Once again, she promptly brought it to his attention, but he claimed to have simply

    “forgotten.”

It wasn’t until they went to the store to buy snacks together that Clara realized her boyfriend didn’t believe in using toilet paper at all.

“We go to Target and I’m like, ‘Oh, while we’re here let’s get some toilet paper,’ Maria Clara described. This man dead–ss looks me in the eye and says, ‘I’m not gonna do that.’”

    She continued,

“And I said, ‘Why?’ and he goes, ‘Because I don’t use toilet paper.’ So I went, ‘What do you use?”

    And he goes,

    “I use wet wipes.’”

When Clara asked what she should use when visiting his house, he suggested she use

    “wet wipes”

    instead.

Clara decided to start bringing her own toilet paper when she went over to her beau’s house but that quickly ended when the boyfriend started mocking Clara’s paper stash. Clara later broke it off with the anti-toilet paper activist.
