A Florida man has been arrested after allegedly calling in a bomb threat from a phone he found in a Walmart bathroom, as reported by Law & Crime. The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Coty J. Clements.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office received the call, in which the suspect sinisterly said

“Tic Toc, Tic Toc,”

before hanging up.

Authorities searched the store and spoke with the owner of the phone, who explained that he had left it in the bathroom and received a call from 911 on his Bluetooth watch. The phone’s owner was able to track its location and identified the stall where it had been left. Surveillance footage showed the owner leaving the bathroom shortly before the bomb threat call, and then Clements entering and remaining in the facility when the call was made.

Shortly after leaving the store, Clements returned and was apprehended by deputies. During questioning, he confessed to making the bomb threat, claiming that he had seen others doing similar things on TikTok. Clements was arrested and taken to the Charlotte County Jail. He has since posted a $15,000 bond. He now faces charges of providing false information about planting a bomb or weapon of mass destruction.
