Sephora Customer Says Checkout Employee Made Her Cry: “This Is Why I Go Online Shopping”

A video where a Sephora customer shared her unfortunate experience with an employee that led her to tears has gone viral.

Creator “Quinn” went to the beauty retailer to purchase mascara from the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez line, and left feeling insecure. In the TikTok, where she covers her face with a crying emoji, Quinn explains the interaction between her and the worker led to free skincare samples along with unsolicited comments about her acne.

“The person was like, ‘I hope that helps your skin because it looks pretty bad right now,’” Quinn says.

The hurt TikToker explains that she’s been struggling with her breakouts since she was a teen, and hasn’t found a regimen that has worked for her. “I didn’t know what to say,” Quinn shares. “Honestly, I just froze because I know my skin looks like, pretty bad right now. I just was just stressed and- I just have acne, okay?”

“I was already having a pretty bad day,” she added. “And then they gotta hit me with this?”

Half a million views later, accompanied by thousands of comments, the video has garnered a lot of attention. Some left comments on Quinn’s TikTok, sharing stories of their less than satisfactory treatment from Sephora employees. Many suggested that she go above the retail worker and report her to a manager, but the TikTok user refuses, saying that maybe the person was having a bad day.

“I work a minimum-wage retail job, and if I get a complaint, I could get fired,” she explains. “I don’t want that to happen to this person.” If only that Sephora employee had been as empathetic as Quinn, who now has no intention of returning to the store.

“This is why I go online shopping.”

  • Mormon TikTok Influencer Taylor Frankie Paul Arrested For Domestic Violence And Child Abuse

Mormon TikTok Influencer Taylor Frankie Paul Arrested For Domestic Violence And Child Abuse

TikTok influencer Taylor Frankie Paul has been arrested and charged with domestic violence and child abuse, CBS News reported.

On February 17, police in Herriman, Utah received a call about a domestic dispute. Dakota Mortensen, Paul’s boyfriend, told police that during their squabble, his girlfriend became violent. She allegedly began slapping him, choking him, and then started throwing heavy items at him. Unfortunately, her aim was subpar and she missed, hitting her 5-year-old daughter in the head with a barstool. Luckily, her other child, a 2-year-old, was asleep in another room and was unharmed.

Despite Paul denying the accusations, security footage within the home, along with a large bump on her daughter’s head, confirmed Mortensen’s claims. In the video, Paul is seen kicking the victim, and throwing a child’s wooden playset at him, which also missed him but damaged his car.

Paul has since been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, child abuse, criminal mischief, and two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child. She is scheduled to appear in court March 21st.

“Ms. Paul’s status as a social media influencer has no bearing or impact on the investigation or outcome of this case,” the Herriman Police Department said in a statement. “All allegations of domestic violence are investigated thoroughly in accordance with state law and established criminal justice best practices to protect victims and ensure accountability.”

    The Georgia mother continued,

“I thought it was so cool.”

The mother went on to demonstrate her discovery on camera as she squeezed the pit of her arm, forcing milk to come out. The video has garnered more than 9 million views. The 24-year-old mother continued,

  • Woman Says She Took A 23andMe DNA Test Which Caused Detectives To Link Her To An Unsolved Murder Case

Woman Says She Took A 23andMe DNA Test Which Caused Detectives To Link Her To An Unsolved Murder Case

A woman on TikTok says after she sent in her 23andMe DNA test detectives contacted her to inform her that her DNA was matched to a 36-year-old murder case, which landed her in the middle of a homicide investigation of a cold case.

    “I was so taken aback,”

31-year-old Jackie Vadurro told the New York Post.

“I knew I hadn’t done anything wrong… But when the police call you about a murder, you’re like, ‘Oh my goodness, what am I involved in?’”

Vadurro, who is a Palm Springs, CA resident, said that a cold-case detective informed her that her DNA was a potential match to a 1986 cold-case murder of a woman who was never identified. Reports say that Jane Doe was fatally shot and tossed onto a San Diego road. The 31-year-old TikToker revealed that she was told

“No one ever reported her missing. [The detectives] do not know who she is.”

    She continued,

“And now they think that I might be her family member because of my DNA that I uploaded on 23andMe.”

If you’re unaware, 23andMe customers are requested to submit a saliva sample that is mailed to their lab for testing. In return,  several weeks later, the customer would be able to access an online report of their family’s origin, health hazards, and more. Officials sometimes have access to these records for their investigations, which was the case for Vadurro.

After detectives informed her of what they’d discovered, the TikToker committed to cooperate with them to aid in the case.

Vadurro posted a video on TikTok revealing her shocking discovery, she said,

“Within, like, 30 minutes [detectives] had called me back and were like, ‘Jackie, thank you so much. This is the biggest break we’ve gotten in this case in a whole year.’”

    Detectives told her,

“‘You are a DNA match to the Jane Doe victim.’”

Officials told her she was the 2nd or 3rd cousin of the unidentified victim. Authorities later learned that Jane Doe was related to Vadurro’s mother’s side of the family and was led to believe the cold-case victim was the love child of Vadurro’s mother’s great-grandfather.

Vadurro is currently awaiting updates on the case

  • TikToker Arrested After Scamming GoFundMe Donors Out Of Thousands After Documenting Fake Cancer ‘Battle’

TikToker Arrested After Scamming GoFundMe Donors Out Of Thousands After Documenting Fake Cancer ‘Battle’

An Iowa woman is accused of faking her cancer diagnosis and swindling over $37,000 from concerned donors, NY Post reported.

Madison ‘Maddie’ Russo was arrested on Jan. 23 after authorities got wind of the 19-year-old’s TikTok campaign where she documented her journey with

“Stage 2 pancreatic cancer, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.”

Russo talked about what it was like being a college student suffering from a tumor

“the size of a football that wrapped around her spine.”

However, Maddie’s story began to crumble when anonymous witnesses claiming to be medical professionals said they recognized faulty medical equipment and

    “discrepancies”

after watching her videos. They notified the police who later issued a search warrant at Russo’s Bettendorf apartment. Police discovered a brown paper bag with medical supplies, an IV pole with a feeding pump filled with cotton swabs, a wig, and pills for nausea in a relative’s name in it, according to the court documents.

The teen reportedly opened a GoFundMe account where she raised $37,303 from more than 439 anonymous donors, officials said. In her GoFundMe description, it reads,

“Maddie is currently undergoing vigorous chemotherapy and radiation treatments that make her very sick… As one can imagine, this diagnosis has been very hard on Maddie’s family… If you are able to, donations would be greatly appreciated to help cover medical expenses and to allow Maddie to focus on one thing only, which is to show that she is stronger than cancer and will beat this.”

The profile has since been removed and donors were reimbursed.

Russo was charged with first-degree theft and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Woman Discovered That A Guy She Was Dating Was Dating Another Woman After Coming Across A TikTok Video Of Her Getting Ready For Dinner At His House

A woman is shocked after learning a guy she was dating for 5 months was dating another girl. Interestingly enough, she learned about it on TikTok after scrolling through her For You Page on TikTok and discovered a video of a woman getting ready for dinner at the same guy’s home.

The woman, Liesel, posted a video with the text overlay that read,

“When you were on your FYP & came across a TikTok of a girl getting ready for dinner at a guy’s house… and it was the guy you had been seeing for 5 months.”

Liesel revealed that the incident occurred over a year ago and the two weren’t officially exclusive; however, she noted that she felt that they were on the path to making things official due to the way their relationship was flowing at the time. Yet, things quickly changed after she discovered the video, and even before that, she confronted him because the same woman texted his phone while they were out together. When she asked him about the text he deflected and claimed that it was his

“best friend’s friend from the gym.”

Liesel discovered the video a month after she confronted the guy and later learned that on the nights he wasn’t with her, he was with the other girl.

Sophia, the other woman, responded in a video explaining her side of the story to her TikTok followers. She explained, that she met the guy on a dating app, Hinge. They dated and she had hopes of them getting even more serious; however, she didn’t know that he was also seeing Liesel. Sophia went on to say that she and the unnamed guy slowly stopped talking after he moved out of the country for a job. Luckily, she and Liesel spoke and began

putting things together. They both no longer talk to the guy.

Woman Reveals That She Mistakenly Married and Had A Baby With Her Cousin, Say They’re Still Together

Marcella Hill revealed the news in a TikTok video that has garnered over 1,000 comments from shocked and unbothered TikTok users.

She said during their discovery, both she and her husband were on family search looking for a name for their baby.

“I was like, ‘Oh look, grandpa’s name, grandma’s name, great-grandma’s name, great-great-grandma’s name,’”

said Hill. She went on to say,

“My husband was next to me on his own family search and was like, ‘Oh that’s funny — we have the same grandma and grandpa’s names.’”

    Hill said,

“So he calls his grandma and I call my grandpa and we ask them if they know each other … Sure enough — ‘Sure!’”

The couple then learned that they were technically, third cousins. However, despite them being related, they grew to accept it and continued their marriage. Hill reflected jokingly pointing out the advantages of being cousins.

“We have won a prize for being-the-closest-related-in-a-neighborhood activity,”

    she said.

“And when I go to my family reunion, he gets to go to his too — at the same time,” said Hill.
