Benzino may be a former rapper, but recently, he spit fire on a famous emcee, Busta Rhymes, for working on “Luxury Life” video with his daughter. It’s not like the former rapper had a rap battle with Busta Rhymes, but he seems to have Busta in a black book over a video with Coi Leray, his daughter.

Busta Rhymes & Coi Leray “Luxury Life”

The iconic rapper Busta Rhymes teamed up with the budding star Coi Leray for his “Luxury Life” song. This is one of the tracks that will feature in his Blockbuster album. While fans may expect nothing but the best from the duo, the collaboration has left someone hurt and disrespected.

Following the release of the video, as per The Source, Benzino, Coi Leray’s dad, has attacked Busta Rhymes. The retired rapper did not meet physically with Busta Rhymes, but he expressed his issues with the “Touch It” rapper online.

Will There Be a Benzino & Busta Rhymes Feud?

Benzino took to Instagram to lash out at Busta Rhymes and Coi Leray. His issue with the iconic rapper was that he did not contact him during the collaboration with Coi.

Benzino expressed distaste for the Luxury Life video, adding that Busta Rhymes did not reach out to him. This is because he believes Coi Leray was half-naked in the production.

He chimed in:

“The whole Busta Rhymes collaboration, he should have reached out to me,” Benzino said. “You don’t do no video with my daughter half-naked. You a grown ass fucking man. He should have reached out to me and said something.”

Amid airing his grievance with Busta Rhymes, Benzino took a subtle jab at his daughter. In a sarcastic tone, he levied blame on Coi Leray’s adulthood. To Benzino, it makes him feel she is above his opinions or advice.

In his words:

“But it is what is. She’s grown, she can do what she want. But I wasn’t with that. All I can do is have my opinions from afar. Once they reach a certain age, it doesn’t matter what I think.”

Benzino’s remarks come a few weeks after Coi Leray blasted her dad in an interview for being jealous of her success. Without any hesitation, the former rapper reacted to the statement. He slammed the interviewer for hating him while entirely disagreeing with his daughter’s take. Benzino found it ridiculous, maintaining that he nurtured and cared for Coi Leray and her brothers.
