Tickets for Coachella are not selling out fast after the organizers revealed the lineup of performing acts. The question arises whether the low ticket sales are due to the caliber of celebrities scheduled to perform or the rising cost of things. This year’s ticket sales have been moving at a very slow pace, which is unusual compared to previous years.

Coachella Experience Low Ticket Sales Since Ten Years

According to SF Gate, in 2015, Coachella ticket sales reached their peak as fans purchased their tickets within forty minutes. However, in the following years, the time frame for ticket sales increased to several hours. In 2023, tickets were available for purchase on the website for only a few days.

But for this year’s event, Coachella has experienced the lowest ticket sales. The ticket sales process started on January 19th, and it has been over a week, yet many tickets are still available. General tickets for both weekends are still in stock, and there are enough VIP tickets as well.

The ticket prices range from $549 for general entrance on the first weekend to $499 for the second pass. VIP visitors will pay $1,269 for the first three shows and $1,069 for the second set of shows.
Coachella recently announced the lineup of entertainers who will be performing at the event. They shared the list on their official Instagram handle, and it includes Tyler Perry, Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, Jhene Aiko, John Batiste, Young Miko, and Ice Spice, who will be appearing on different days.

No source has provided an explanation for Coachella’s slow ticket sales. If the performers are the reason behind it, word will soon spread among fans. Fans are known for being vocal about their opinions, as seen last year when Frank Ocean canceled his performance due to an alleged injury and received criticism from many, including Joe Budden, who called him a scammer.
