Tom Cruise Is Officially Returning To The Top Gun Sequel As Its Script Writing Begins

With many films finding success in the current wave of sequels and reboots, each successful movie presumably forms a path toward further installments. Following the triumph of Top Gun: The iconic franchise, Maverick is now ready for the adventurous third chapter.

As a token of the upcoming sequel, Tom Cruise has officially accepted to play Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. Despite the hectic schedule that has him starring in the upcoming Mission Impossible film, Cruise’s return will bring fans an exhilarating reunion with cast members Miles Teller and Glen Powell.

Though the release date and synopsis are still left unresolved, fans will be excited to enjoy another adventurous soaring with Maverick, who is eternal. With the next Mission Impossible slated for 2025, Cruise keeps his fans delighted and entertained in true action style.
