Travis Scott’s Chicago concert did not happen as planned. Even though fans had geared up to see their favorite rapper, he failed to honor them with his presence. What’s worse? There was no future notification ahead of time or an adequate explanation.

Travis Scott Was Live In Saudi Arabia Days Before He Canceled the Chicago Concert

Page Six brought back details of Travis’s performance in Saudi Arabia. The outlet confirmed that he was present at the Soundstorm Festival held in Riyadh. Other American talents at the event included Calvin Harris and Metallica.

A timely return would have met a mammoth crowd gathered at the United Center to witness Travis in all his glory. Fans came from a great distance to the Chicago venue but unfortunately met a nerve-wracking disappointment. On the precise date for the show, Dec. 15, the organizers told fans that the rapper would not be available.

According to their online statement:

“All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date once announced. More information will be posted here and emailed to ticketholders directly when available.”

There was no information about the rescheduled date, nor was there a soothing message for his loyalists. Hours later, the 32-year-old posted an ambiguous message via X. He wrote, “IM SOOOOOO F–KKKKINGGGGG HOTTTTTTTTTTT.”

It was uncertain if he was addressing the situation or his immediate surroundings. Furthermore, Travis has yet to show any empathy towards the fans in Chicago who felt devastated by the news of his concert shift.

Fans Are Enraged Over the Cancelation

Fans in Chicago poured out their dissatisfaction immediately after the word came out. One fan quipped:

“You did Chicago so dirty bro I was so ready for tonight man why didn’t you give an earlier notice?”

Aside from airing their thoughts, some fans speculated that Travis prioritized his Saudi Arabian performance over the Chicago concert.

A commenter wrote, “Travis Scott picked dat Saudi money over the Chicago money and that’s that.”
