This film revolves around an unlikely pair who solve crimes, with a sardonic cop and a clever con woman as the main characters.

Giacomo Gianniotti, famous for his role as Andrew DeLuca in

“Grey’s Anatomy,”

stars in the film as Ellis, a lower-ranking police detective who spent his last years in the Maritime unit. Vanessa Morgan, known for her iconic role as Toni Topaz in

“Riverdale,”

plays Max, a free-spirited scam artist who preys on people she meets daily.

After Max finds herself in a situation that lands her behind bars, she realizes she needs Ellis’s help to redeem herself and solve a crime. Ellis, determined to make a difference, strives to become a detective, while Max aims to avoid returning to jail.

Together, they use their unique skills to solve crimes, learning from each other along the way. Ellis takes a traditional approach as a cop, while Max relies on clever schemes and accents that sometimes shock Ellis. Through their journey, they build trust and, most importantly, get the job done.

“Wild Cards”

is set to premiere in 2024, although the specific release date has not been announced yet.
