The suspect has been identified as 36-year-old, Trista Fullerton. The Anderson Police Department received a call from a

while in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant in a pickup truck with six children inside. It is unclear how all eight children were transported, police said.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered an Arkansas-registered truck filled with trash. Fullerton, who had a felony warrant for abducting her children, was arrested at the scene. Police interviewed her and learned that the other two missing children were located in a home about 5 miles away, Anderson Police Department confirmed, with the help of the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.

Fullerton, who is the biological mother of all eight children, had her custodial rights revoked for undisclosed reasons. She is now in custody at the Shasta County Jail and will be extradited to Arkansas, police said. Shasta County’s children and family services have taken custody of all eight children, according to the outlet.
