It seems rapper Lil Tjay was highly offended by his encounter with streamer Plaqueboymax. He took to the internet to make it clear that he doesn’t tolerate disrespect. During the live-stream, Lil Tjay and Fivio Foreign abruptly left after repeatedly being told by Plaqueboymax not to smoke in an Airbnb that was being rented for the stream.
In the stream, Plaqueboymax could be heard saying,
“This a bnb, you can’t smoke in here the sh*t gon’ go off. I appreciate you though.”
The rules didn’t sit well with Tjay, who was seen leaving a few minutes after his arrival. Joining him were fellow rappers Fivio Foreign, Bay Swag, and Kyle Richh. Fivio also decided to exit after being reminded of the house rules.
Once the internet caught wind of the interaction, many seemed to side with Plaqueboymax. In response, Tjay took to social media to address the situation and clear the air himself. He reminded everyone online that he’s not someone to mess with, pointing out that he’s been in the prison system since the age of 13.
“I been to jail bro…I been to jail as a minor, I was a f**king felon at 13. I don’t know who n**gas suppose to think Lil Tjay is,”
he said while explaining the back-and-forth to rapper DDG.
“What type of reaction you really think you gon’ get from that gang? You think you my mother bro? Foreal, foreal, n**gas will slap the sh*t out of you,”
he continued, adding that the presence of cameras was the only reason he chose not to chin-check the streamer.
A Florida defense attorney has been taken into custody following a lengthy investigation into the smuggling of illegal drugs into the county jail, according to Law & Crime.
Nathan Williams, 37, was arrested on January 5 and faces eight felony charges, including two counts related to providing drugs or controlled substances to an inmate. During a press conference on January 7, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office revealed that Williams is accused of working with inmates at the Duval County Jail and their relatives to smuggle in
“drug-soaked”
papers that he disguised as legal documents.
During the press conference, Undersheriff Shawn Coarsey shared that Operation Stamp Collection was a long-term investigation into the illegal drug supply to inmates at the Duval County Jail, prompted by a rise in overdoses. Williams, a local defense attorney, was one of 21 individuals arrested since the investigation began in February 2024.
Coarsey clarified that these arrests were separate incidents, not part of a larger conspiracy. He stated that Williams allegedly worked with inmates and their families to smuggle in
“purported legal paperwork”
infused with ADB-PINACA, a synthetic marijuana classified as a Schedule I controlled substance.
The investigation uncovered that Williams allegedly brought these
“drug-soaked sheets of paper”
to the jail in return for payment. Coarsey noted that the investigation is ongoing, with additional arrests anticipated. Williams, has no prior criminal record and serves in the National Guard. He faces multiple charges, including two counts of providing or receiving communication from an inmate, two counts of conspiring to introduce controlled substances into the jail, and two counts of unlawful use of a two-way communication device. He was released on January 7 after posting bond and is scheduled to appear in court, January 28.

A tattoo artist in Arizona is facing backlash for tattooing a 9-year-old girl with an American flag, as reported by the NY Post. He claims he was actually trying to help and does not support children getting tattoos.
The co-owner of Black Onyx Empire Tattoo, known as Sosa, took to Instagram to defend his actions. He claims that the girl came into his Yuma shop last May with her sister and parents, requesting a tattoo of President-elect Donald Trump on her neck. In Arizona, minors can get tattoos as long as their parents give consent.
Sosa mentioned that he attempted to discourage the girl and her family from making such a permanent choice by quoting them a price of $500 for what would typically cost $80.
Despite his efforts, the family was adamant, and Sosa convinced them to opt for an American flag tattoo on her arm instead of the Trump neck tattoo.
Since sharing the story, Sosa claims he has been receiving
“threats”
and
“hate comments,”
but he maintains that he was acting with the girl’s best interests in mind.
“She was going to get it done regardless. She said it didn’t matter if I did it or someone else did it, she was going to get it done,”
he told The Post.
“Do I think it’s right? No,”
Sosa said, mentioning that he has never tattooed a child before and believes that the law should prohibit it.

A man who injured himself while shaving has received $6,250 in compensation from a razor company, according to the NY Post.
Nick Silverthorn, 48, bought a supermarket-brand razor from his local shop. However, after using it for the first time at home, he claims it cut both of his cheeks. He discovered that one of the razor blades was detached and believed the product was defective.
Rather than dismissing his injuries as a simple mishap, he chose to take legal action against the razor manufacturer. Ultimately, he secured a court settlement from one of the world’s leading razor brands – Wilkinson Sword. Nick, who is from London, said,
“This was no ordinary shaving cut. It sliced my skin… My cuts bled for over twenty minutes. I took action to protect others as they may not be as lucky as me.”
He added,
“It just kept coming. Due to the wounds being on my face it took me nearly half an hour dabbing with tissues before the blood finally stopped pumping out of the cuts.”
He said he looked and saw that the blade was hanging out,
“that could have done some real damage,”
he remembered thinking.
“It wasn’t just an everyday nick or cut I had been given. It had sliced into my skin. I had been shaving for thirty years and never had cuts like this.”
Nick had relatives take a picture of his facial cuts and preserved the razor, box, and receipt as evidence. His wounds took weeks to heal, leaving him with scars and causing him recurring nightmares for months, he claimed. Rather than throwing out the faulty razor, Nick reached out to product liability specialists Express Solicitors. They contacted Sainsbury’s, which referred them to the razor manufacturer, Wilkinson Sword. After testing the product, the brand offered to settle his claim for $6,250 a month later, with no admission of liability.
A mystery surrounds the recent allegations that rapper Waka Flocka was attacked, sparked by a video showing him poolside with a black eye. In the clip, he attempted to conceal the marks using filters and emojis. Just days earlier, Waka posted a selfie on social media, revealing his battered face and claiming he had been jumped by 10 men. In the caption, he wrote,
“Can’t believe nobody helped me fight ten ni**as off but I’m still standing ten toes marks.”
Fans quickly rallied to his defense, expressing concern for his safety. However, the post was later deleted, and Waka shared a short clip laughing and seemingly denying the incident. In the video, he said,
“crazy yall ni**as believed that sh*t.”
Waka also turned to X to call out blogs for running with his story and failing to do their research on the facts.
“Not a single media outlet that reported on my sh*t reached out to me or my team to confirm anything.. they ran with the caption as they headline. Imagine a world where facts aint checked and ig post can steer a string of #news.”
So, was the rapper really jumped as he initially claimed, or was this story a ploy for attention?
A 12-year-old Georgia boy sustained serious burns and had to be hospitalized after his friends allegedly poured boiling water on his face while he was asleep. The incident occurred during a sleepover prank that went wrong, according to WALB News 10.
The boy was at a neighbor’s apartment in Tifton, Georgia. He was joined by three other boys aged between 12 and 15. The kids were reportedly playing video games, as shared by his mother, Tiffany West. West reported that one of the boys thought it would be funny to pour hot water on the sleeping boy, resulting in second-degree burns primarily on his face.
West’s son was taken to a burn center in Augusta, where he had surgery and is now recovering at home, she informed the outlet. The devastated mother expressed her anger over the reckless prank that harmed her child. “I mean, I really can’t describe it now. In that moment I was just mad, hurt, in shock. Everything, I was seeing red,” she said.
The three boys involved were arrested. They have since been released to their families as they await their court hearings scheduled for next month, according to the report. The family is facing difficult times after having to take off from work due to the incident. They have been struggling with increasing medical expenses as his recovery is expected to take 12 to 14 days, the Aunt told the outlet. She also noted that her nephew would require counseling to help him mentally heal.
West took to Facebook calling her son a
“warrior and strong”
as she expressed her gratitude to those who donated and left her family
“encouraging words”
as her son takes time to heal.
“All of your donations are very APPRECIATED & it’s all for my son! Every donation, gift, encouraging words & prayer put a SMILE on my son face!”
she added.

A knife-wielding madwoman brutally murdered a postal worker in a Harlem deli this week, as reported by the NY Post.
The individual has been named as Jaia Cruz, a 24-year-old transgender woman. Cruz is reportedly responsible for the death of Ray Hodges, a USPS employee and father of two. She is now facing murder charges for the killing of Hodges on Thursday.
The 36-year-old postal worker stopped at Joe’s Deli Grocery on 168 Lenox Ave. to grab lunch when he got into a heated argument with Cruz while waiting in line, bodega employees told The Post. Cruz quickly lost her temper, spat in Hodges’ face, and stabbed him in the stomach, according to police. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities revealed.
Prior to this horrific incident, Cruz had a criminal history with five arrests, including one in July 2020 for brandishing an open box cutter at a person in Midtown West while shouting,
“I’m going to cut him,”
according to police sources. When officers instructed the aggressive Cruz to lie on the ground, she refused and was subsequently arrested for resisting arrest. Just two weeks later, she was apprehended again for a robbery involving a knife.

Authorities in Illinois have charged eleven teenage boys. The teens reportedly used an online dating app to lure unsuspecting men to meet, where they would then attack them, police officials stated per USA Today.
The charges involve ten boys aged 17 and one 16-year-old. They face numerous felonies such as aggravated battery, mob action, and criminal damage to property, as detailed in a news release from the Mount Prospect Police Department. Additionally, one of the 17-year-olds is facing two extra felony counts related to a hate crime, according to the department.
The teenagers voluntarily surrendered and were taken into custody between November 11 and November 20, 2024, according to police reports. An investigation by Mount Prospect police revealed that some of the suspects were inspired to target men by a viral trend they had seen on social media.
Victims Attacked in 7-Eleven Parking Lot
Police reported that the first incident occurred on July 8 at 9:45 p.m., involving a 41-year-old man who was assaulted by the group in a 7-Eleven parking lot. He had arranged to meet someone through an online dating app, but upon arrival, he was confronted verbally and then physically attacked by the teens. Police reported that the teenagers damaged the man’s car during the first incident, but he managed to escape as they tried to follow him.
The second incident, occurring around 9:54 p.m. the same day, involved a 23-year-old man who was also lured and assaulted after using an online dating app. During the attack, one suspect slashed the man’s tires. He drove away but later stopped to seek help from a nearby home, where he asked them to call 911. Emergency responders took him to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives were able to identify the suspects using surveillance footage from the 7-Eleven.
Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested on New Year’s Day after allegedly
“punching a woman multiple times and threatening to kill her,”
according to TMZ. The woman, who has not been named but reportedly has a child with the 43-year-old actor, told police that Bryan struck her on the left side of her face and also placed her in a chokehold, causing her to fear for her life. The injuries she sustained are consistent with her story, the police report noted, according to TMZ.
Bryan has multiple children with his ex-wife, Carly Matros, and his fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright. It remains unclear if either of these women was involved in the incident. The former child star was taken into custody for second-degree domestic violence in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Wednesday evening. He was moved to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Thursday after failing to post his $10,000 bail, as reported by a Myrtle Beach Police spokesperson to Page Six. A court date has not yet been set.
Bryan has a history of legal troubles; he was arrested for driving under the influence in California in February 2024 and again in Oklahoma in October 2024. Additionally, the
“Guardians of Justice (Will Save You!)”
actor faced two felony charges after reportedly strangling his former girlfriend, Cartwright, in 2020. In 2023, he addressed the incident, claiming it had been
“blown out of proportion.”
“We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhome that had [thin walls], everybody could hear,”
he told the Hollywood Reporter.
“At the end of the day, [the police] throw a bunch of counts at you because they ultimately want you to plead to something,”
he added.
“I could’ve fought it … but that’s more stress and drama.”

Prosecutors claimed on Thursday that a convicted child rapist on parole attacked his ex-girlfriend, slashing her and pushing her onto the subway tracks in front of her teenage daughters, as reported by the NY Post.
Michael Blount, 29, was taken into custody on December 28 and faced multiple charges, including attempted murder, after being indicted on January 1. On November 5, Blount began stalking the 37-year-old woman and her daughters at a deli in Harlem. As they tried to escape him, he followed them to the subway platform. Blount reportedly returned to the deli, where he allegedly bought a razor blade before returning to the subway station.
According to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, at around 11 p.m., Blount grabbed the victim by her hair and attempted to slit her throat while she was waiting for the A train at the 125th Street station. Prosecutors stated that the victim tried to shield her neck, but Blount went on to slash her face multiple times. Her daughter was able to pull her mother from the tracks, per District Attorney Alvin Bragg in a statement. She was rescued from the tracks two minutes before the next train arrived.
Prosecutors reported that a bystander called a cab for the family, where she was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital for treatment of her injuries. She suffered severe lacerations and had to undergo plastic surgery. Following the attack, the District Attorney claims that Blount continued calling, and texting, the woman and her daughters for weeks while he evaded police until his arrest this past weekend.
Michael Blount Previous Convictions
State records reveal that Blount is a registered
“sexually violent offender”
following his 2013 conviction in Brooklyn for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl. He served seven years in prison. After being charged with robbery, he was released in 2020 and remained on parole until 2025. On Thursday, he pleaded not guilty to the latest charges and was ordered held without bail.
