In exchange for most of their ties to the royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become Hollywood royals, and they are well on their way to producing a new Netflix romance film based on the New York Times bestselling novel

‘Meet Me at the Lake’.

The release date of the film is still unannounced, and it is their latest project after a series of much-scrutinized productions since stepping down from the royal family in 2020. Archewell Productions, the media company owned by the couple, purchased the rights to the novel and will collaborate with Netflix to produce a movie adaptation.

According to The Wall Street Journal, another project in development for Harry and Meghan includes a TV show called

‘Bad Manners’,

based on the Miss Havisham character from Charles Dickens’s classic novel

‘Great Expectations’.

After signing a $150 million deal with Netflix, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have gone ahead to release a royal docuseries and have produced

‘Live to Lead’,

which aired at the end of last year.
