Corey’s mother, Bre Micciolo, tearfully testified as the first witness, revealing that she had reported her son’s injuries to the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency before his tragic death, according to the US Sun. • Mother Of 15 Arrested In Colorado After Husband’s Lifeless Body Was Found On Front Lawn, Couple Previously Accused Of Child Abuse and Animal Cruelty

Mother Of 15 Arrested In Colorado After Husband’s Lifeless Body Was Found On Front Lawn, Couple Previously Accused Of Child Abuse and Animal Cruelty

A mother-of-15 from Colorado has been taken into custody following the discovery of her husband’s body on their property, reports the Daily Mail

In 2019, Martha Crouch, 57, and her husband Timothy, 62, were accused of running what was described as a

    “house of horrors,”

according to their 18-year-old daughter. The accusations against her include beating her children, depriving them of education, and even chaining one daughter to a bed in an attempt to make her lose weight. Most shockingly, she is accused of boiling puppies alive and forcing her children to witness these horrific acts.

“I’ll never be able to get the images out of my mind – seeing my mother dropping newborn puppies into boiling water and the smell of them cooking on the stovetop,”

Lizzy, Martha’s fourth-youngest daughter, told The Daily Mail.

Martha was charged with child abuse, cruelty to animals, and obstruction of an investigation. In an effort to avoid jail time, she took a plea deal in December 2021, pleading no contest to a fourth-degree felony count of attempted child abuse. However, just two days after her probation sentence began, Martha violated the terms, resulting in a warrant for her arrest.

Huerfano County sheriffs located her in Walsenburg, Colorado, almost 20 months later, after the tragic discovery of her husband’s lifeless body that was found on their front lawn. Authorities say she was hiding behind a concealed wall in her trailer.

Law enforcement also learned that her 14-year-old daughter had been missing for the past three years. Following their neighbor’s tip, authorities discovered a hidden wall within the kitchen of their home, where Martha and her missing daughter were located.

Martha was arrested for violating probation and now faces additional charges of misdemeanor child abuse and obstruction of deputies. She is presently detained in a county jail with a cash bond set at $5,000. The date for her next court appearance is yet to be determined.

  • Father Accused Of Murdering Girlfriend’s Daughter Now Faces Charges For Killing His Infant Son

Father Accused Of Murdering Girlfriend’s Daughter Now Faces Charges For Killing His Infant Son

Jordan Taylor, a murder defendant from Kentucky, is facing accusations of killing a second child in a separate incident, Law & Crime reported.

The 23-year-old was previously indicted for the murder of 3-year-old Amoura Smallwood, along with the child’s mother Alexandra Ward, who is also facing charges of complicity. Now, a grand jury in Clay County has indicted Taylor for the murder of his 6-month-old son, Ja’Vonn Taylor, according to local news outlet The Manchester Enterprise. The infant tragically passed away on July 17, 2020, while under his father’s care at home.

Commonwealth Attorney Gary Gregory of the 41st Judicial Circuit has expressed the possibility of seeking the death penalty for Jordan Taylor. He stated that all options, including the death penalty, are being considered in this case. The indictment for the 2020 murder was issued by the Clay County grand jury on August 3, with a formal arraignment scheduled for August 28, as reported by The Lexington Herald Leader.

Regarding the Whitley County case, prosecutors argued that Ward had a legal obligation to prevent Jordan Taylor from strangling Amoura on February 17, 2023, and subsequently murdering her two days later. Taylor claimed to be the sole supervisor of Amoura until the arrival of the ambulance, but the lead detective found inconsistencies between his statement and the child’s injuries. Authorities discovered injuries all over the child’s body, from head to feet.

In the case of Amoura’s death, Taylor faces charges of murder, strangulation, and sodomy. Ward, as the child’s mother, is also held accountable for failing to protect her daughter, as it is both a moral and legal obligation for parents to ensure their children’s safety.

Father Arrested For The Death Of His 1-Year-Old Daughter After Giving Her A Forceful ‘Bear Hug’ That Resulted In Dislocated Neck Ligaments, Police Say

A 28-year-old Indiana father has been arrested for the murder of his 1-year-old daughter, Law&Crime reported.

Damian Milton was taken into custody on Monday after an examination revealed severe injuries to his daughter, Amaya Milton. She had torn ligaments in her neck and a swollen brain due to lack of oxygen, doctors said. Milton has been charged with battery resulting in the death of a person under 14, a level 1 felony.

Milton called 911 on July 31, reporting his daughter’s difficulty breathing. Doctors at the Riley Hospital for Children quickly realized her injuries were life-threatening and contacted the police. Amaya was admitted to the intensive care unit with severe brain swelling and neck ligament injuries. She also had visible scratches on her face, reports reveal.

Amaya’s mother was reportedly at her workplace on the day when her daughter suffered the fatal injuries, according to the outlet.

During questioning, Milton initially claimed Amaya had fallen and hit her head on the carpet. However, in a second interview, he admitted to being

    “mildly aggressive”

with her at times. He confessed that he had forcefully pulled her by the arm, giving her a bear hug with her face pressed into his chest while squeezing her neck.

Amaya tragically succumbed to her injuries on August 6 after spending six days in the ICU. The hospital’s Child Protection Team determined that her injuries were likely caused by violent shaking. Milton is currently in custody on an $80,000 bond, awaiting formal charges. The exact cause of Amaya’s death has not been disclosed by authorities.

  • Five High School Educators Charged With Failing To Report Abuse Of 15-Year-Old Girl, Police Say

Five High School Educators Charged With Failing To Report Abuse Of 15-Year-Old Girl, Police Say

A Florida high school principal and four staffers were arrested after failing to alert authorities about the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old student, NY Post reported.

Palm Beach Central High School Principal Darren Edgecomb, 58, assistant principal Dan Snider, 49, assistant principal Nereyda Garcia, 37, chorus teacher Scott Houchins, 53, and school behavioral therapist Priscilla Carter were all arrested for their involvement in neglecting to report the abuse.

The adults were reportedly informed about the incident on June 16, 2021, after the girl’s friend wrote a letter alleging that the victim had been assaulted by two male students, CBS 12 reported.

According to the letter the victim,

“has had many problems with guys and has been sexually assaulted by two of them,”

with the friend confessing that they had witnessed the suspects

“not taking no for an answer.”

The letter also said that the 15-year-old was suffering from anxiety and panic attacks due to the assault, which was leading her to commit

    “self-harm.”

The letter was never reported to the Department of Children and Families, which is mandated by state law, according to the affidavit. During a meeting held on August 19, 2021, a month after the assault was reported by the victim’s friend, Garcia said the student’s parents should be responsible for telling the state, according to the charging documents.

One staffer even claimed to have conducted their own investigation, concluding that no assault had occurred. However, the school did punish one of the boys. When officials asked the staff member why they moved forward in disciplining the child despite no findings, the educator replied that he was

    “aware of how it looks.”

All five administrators were charged with one count of failure to report sexual abuse and were authorized to stay away from the victim, witnesses, and students, reports reveal.

“The allegations involving students occurred off of school property and over a weekend. However, no matter when or where any alleged assault against a student occurs, our policy aligns with the law, which requires all personnel to report suspected abuse,”

    the district added.

  • Father and Stepmother Arrested After Police Find Six Children ‘Starved Beaten and Locked In Cages’

Father and Stepmother Arrested After Police Find Six Children ‘Starved Beaten and Locked In Cages’

Las Vegas Metro Police arrested father, Travis Doss, and stepmother, Amanda Stamper after finding young children locked in cages at their residence, reports the NY Post. The children were allegedly battered and starved, police say.

Upon entering the one-bedroom apartment cops found six children, ages 2-11, alone with two dogs. The 11-year-old boy along with his 9-year-old brother were both locked up in separate cages. The 11-year-old had

“two black eyes that were swollen shut, multiple marks and bruises all over his body, and he was emaciated,”

    according to police.

The boy told police he had to share the little food he was given amongst his siblings.

“He kept saying that he was always hungry and that’s why he stole, and then he said, ‘It’s food that’s in the trash, so how is that even stealing?’”

the detective said, according to a grand-jury transcript.

“And he kept saying that he needed big food because he was a big boy now and that he would have to share one large fry from McDonald’s with like all six kids and just that he was never really fed and that’s why he stole,”

    the cop recounted.

Doss, who is the father to seven children, was indicted by a grand jury earlier this month on 40 charges including child abuse, according to court documents obtained by The Post. Amanda Stamper is reportedly the biological mother of the 2-year-old child and stepmother to the others. She was also indicted and faces seven counts of child abuse, reports note.

Stamper’s public defender said she was also a victim of Doss’s abuse and feared for her life.

“If she had done anything, she would’ve been subjected to serious, serious abuse,”

they told the local outlet in June.

Doss was also a rapper who went by the name

    “Trap Montana,”

according to his Instagram posts. Police obtained images of him rapping inside luxury cars, mansions, and casinos on the famed Las Vegas Strip.
