Christopher Gregor, a father from New Jersey, is currently on trial for the alleged murder of his 6-year-old son, Corey Micciolo, per the NY Post. Disturbing video evidence has been presented in court, showing Gregor forcing Corey to run on a treadmill
“because he was too fat,”
the outlet reported.
The footage captures Gregor increasing the speed and incline of the treadmill, causing Corey to fall numerous times.
“Specifically by having (Corey) run on a treadmill and increasing the speed, causing (Corey) to fall, placing (him) back on the moving treadmill while appearing to bite his head, causing the said child to fall several more times,”
according to an arrest warrant obtained the outlet.
Corey’s mother, Bre Micciolo, tearfully testified as the first witness, revealing that she had reported her son’s injuries to the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency before his tragic death, according to the US Sun. An autopsy revealed that Corey suffered from severe blunt force injuries and chronic abuse.
Gregor has been arrested and is now awaiting trial, having declined a plea deal. He is currently being held without bond in the Ocean City Jail.
