Woman Charged In Connection To The Death Kim Kardashian Lookalike Christina Ashten Gourkani

A woman from Florida has been charged in connection to the death of Christina Ashten Gourkani, the Kim Kardashian-lookalike, and OnlyFans influencer. Reports say 50-year-old, Vivian Alexandra Gomez, injected silicone into Gourkani’s buttocks. The OnlyFans star later died of cardiac arrest at a hospital in California. Gomez was arrested merely hours after Gourkani’s death. She was located at the Fort Lauderdale Airport on April 20.

The 50-year-old woman was charged with

“involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license, both felonies,”

reports the New York Post. Reports added that she is being held without bail in Florida as she awaits to be transported to Burlingame, California where Gourkani received her treatment. Officials say the treatments were given to her in a hotel room.

Steve Wagstaffe, San Mateo County District Attorney, told the Daily Post that Gourkani hired the woman to enlarge her curves so she can look more like Kim Kardashian. Gourkani was given multiple injections to enlarge her buttocks, according to the DA. Investigators are still waiting for verification from a toxicology report; however, the injections seem to have been silicone, the DA told the outlet.

Dr. Michael Obeng, a Board-certified plastic surgeon, informed PEOPLE,

“Most of these illegal injections are made with silicone and silicone or any foreign substance can migrate within the body, which can lead to infection and hardness over time, deforming parts of the body.”

“And as with any injection, it can go into your bloodstream … And if it gets in the bloodstream, it can block the blood vessels and cause necrosis,”

Obeng added as he referred to the demise of vital cells.

Florida Man Arrested After Dismembered Food Delivery Driver Was Found In Trash

A Florida man is now in police custody after the dismembered remains of a food delivery driver were found in a trash bin outside of his home, CBS News reports.

On April 19th, the victim, who worked as a delivery driver for both Uber Eats and DoorDash, texted his wife to tell her he had one more delivery before being able to return home. That was the last time he spoke to her. After multiple texts and calls went unanswered, the woman notified police.

  • Florida Passes Bill That Allows Death Penalty For Child Sexual Abusers

Florida Passes Bill That Allows Death Penalty For Child Sexual Abusers

According to the New York Post, lawmakers from Florida have permitted legislation that would authorize the death penalty for people who are convicted of sexually assaulting children. The legislation is supported by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

    The bipartisan proposal

“will also allow juries to hand down death sentences by votes of at least 8-4, after previously requiring unanimity,”

reports The Post. The bill pertains to people who are convicted of sexually assaulting children under 12 years old.

On Monday, Gov. DeSantis told Good Morning Orlando,

“My view is, you have some of these people that will be serial rapists of six, seven-year-old kids… I think the death penalty is the only appropriate punishment when you have situations like that.”

The co-sponsors of the bill, State Senate Minority Leader Lauren Book, and State Sen. Jonathan Martin contended that people who commit such acts are likely to repeat the same actions, which should result in the penalty. Book said,

“Once a predator has a child ensnared, they will harm that child over and over and over again. And then move on to another innocent child.”

“Pedophile behavior has been deemed highly repetitive to the point of compulsion,” Book added.

One of the five who went against the bill, State Sen. Rosalind Osgood, revealed that although she agrees that sexually assaulting children is a severe crime, she confessed that she couldn’t support the death penalty overall due to her religion.
