    Two 14-year-old high school students have been arrested and charged after attacking another student as they tried to steal his designer fanny back, reports Officials from Florida

    According to the Miami Herald, a school safety official at Sandalwood High School received an assistance call on his radio close to 7:20 a.m. on Feb. 23. The school safety agent went to the nurse’s office where he discovered a student who had been attacked and was bleeding from an injury above his ear. 

    The unidentified student informed the agent that he was assaulted by two teens in the bathroom as they attempted to take his Supreme fanny pack. Reports added that the bag was worth close to $400. The teen revealed that when he was attacked, one of the attackers stabbed him in the head with scissors. 

    Saryn Hatcher, the school’s principal, revealed in a statement that the school was put under a

    “code yellow,”

    as officials investigated the incident. If you’re unaware, code yellow instructs students and teachers to remain in their classes; however, it indicates that there’s no threat to individuals in the building. 

    “What happened today was absolutely unacceptable, and it is troubling when young people make decisions that lead to these outcomes,”

    said the statement. 

    Both teens were taken into custody, as one teen was charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and possession of a weapon on school property. The other teen was charged with armed robbery and battery causing bodily harm.

    A pregnant inmate from Florida who is locked up is battling for her release along with her attorney as they argued that her unborn child is being

     “held unlawfully.”

    According to Revolt, the inmate, Natalia Harrell, is currently suspected of murder following a deadly shooting that happened in an Uber. 

    Back on July 23, 2022, the woman was traveling in an Uber with a group of friends when an argument escalated causing Harrell to pull out a firearm and fatally shoot Gladys Yvette Borcela. Reports say the incident was caught on the driver’s security camera. On July 26, Harrell was sent to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center following the encounter. Harrell’s attorney, William M. Norris, is requesting the woman’s release due to her child’s innocence as Norris said, the unborn child

    “has not been charged with a criminal offense,”

    Fox News reported. 

    The attorney began taking legal steps last week to get the request in motion. When the request was filed, the woman was eight months pregnant at the time. The attorney also mentioned that the woman hasn’t been seen by a doctor since October and she hasn’t been eating nutritious foods, pointing out the prison’s healthcare. Norris also pointed out the woman’s living conditions saying that it’s

    “a cell block or pod where violent criminals are housed.” 

    According to the habeas corpus,

    “Absent immediate release of UNBORN CHILD from the Respondents, UNBORN CHILD will be likely brought into this world on the concrete floor of the prison cell, without the aid of qualified medical physicians and paramedics, and in the presence of violent criminals.”

    Florida High School Coach Arrested For Filming Students Engaging In Sex Acts, Told Girl He Likes Minors

    A Florida high school sports coach and part-time security monitor has been arrested after filming two teens engaging in a sex act and propositioning one the day after, CBS News reported.

    On February 14th, Yuniesky Ramirez-Martinez approached two students that attend Downtown Doral Charter Upper School, and asked the female student if she was going to perform oral sex on the other student. The 37-year-old then told the underaged couple that he would take them to a private room so they could “do whatever they want,” his arrest warrant states.

    Ramirez-Martinez led the two teens to a TV production room, and told them they could “do it” as he waited in the next room, which had a two-way window. He then secretly recorded them on his smartphone. As the students left the room Ramirez-Martinez “gave Juvenile 2 a “fist bump” and encouraged both juveniles not to fall in love because they are too young,” the police report stated.

    The next day Ramirez-Martinez approached the female student and told het he saw what she had done with the other student, and that he wanted her to do that to him. When she declined, reminding him that she was underaged, he responded that he prefers minors. When denied him again, Ramirez-Martinez threatened to tell her boyfriend that she already head.

    On February 17th, the teen went to the school’s principal and explained what had occurred. Authorities were then notified, and the City of Doral Police Department made the arrest. Ramirez-Martinez was terminated from his positions, and has been charged with offense against students by an authority figure, solicitation of a child to engage in an act that constitutes sexual battery by a custodial authority, and promoting a sexual performance by a child. He remains at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $40,000 bond.

    A woman has taken to Facebook to expose Florida‘s fast food restaurant,

    “Slim Chickens,”

    for having roaches in their food, according to WEAR Pensacola per the NY Post. The

    location on Nine Mile Road in Pensacola is under fire after customer, Haile Kirkland, posted a video to Facebook showing cockroaches cooked into her chicken tenders. The video has garnered thousands of views with nearly 1,500 shares since Feb. 16. 

    Kirkland told the outlet,

    “I probably ate one or two of my tenders and then my husband sat his food down and he was like, ‘Here check my food,’ and it was in his food… And I was like ‘Oh great.’”

    Since the now-viral social media post an anonymous employee has come forward showing videos of roaches crawling in different areas in the kitchen.

    The fast food joint reportedly has only been open since March 2021 and has not received any health code violations. According to WEAR, who reached out to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, say they visited

    “Slim Chicken”

    and found

    “20 dead roaches in the store.”

    The DBPR scheduled a follow-up inspection on Wednesday and found no violations.

    The owner of the location, who has not been named, sent the following statement to WEAR,

    “My team was immediately made aware of the complaint, and we responded swiftly to ensure all health & safety precautions were evaluated. I met with our local pest elimination company the following morning at the restaurant to thoroughly inspect the premises and provide further pest elimination treatment. Although we believe all pest activity has been resolved they will continue to come out weekly to monitor and provide additional treatments as needed.” 

    Kirkland says she will be returning to the fast food restaurant once it is cleaned.

    “I’m not gonna lie, they have some of the best chicken in town, I just need it to be clean,”

    she told the outlet.

    A North Florida high school student, 17, knocked out a school staff member after she seized his Nintendo Switch, says the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, reports the Miami Herald. Following the attack, the woman was sent to the hospital and the student was taken into custody for the brutal attack. 

    The incident occurred at Matanzas High School on February 21. Officials arrived at the school close to 10:15 a.m. where they discovered the assistant teacher

    “on the ground with severe injuries after an unprovoked attack by a male student.”

    According to the sheriff’s office,

    “The student stated that he was upset because the victim took his Nintendo Switch away from him during class.” 

    “On surveillance footage …. the student who is approximately (6 feet, 6 inches tall) and 270 pounds, is shown walking fast toward the victim and pushing the victim several feet, knocking her to the school floor, which knocked her unconscious. The student is then shown kicking and punching the unconscious victim several times in the back and head.”

    In the video, bystanders are seen running toward the encounter to defuse the situation as the unidentified paraprofessional laid on the floor unconscious. In a video released by the sheriff’s department, the student is seen going off on officers as he told them that he had

     “more important things to do”

    than going to jail. The 17-year-old student also complained about how he was being mishandled by arresting officers. 

    The boy has been charged with felony aggravated battery with bodily harm, according to officials.

    A man in Fort Pierce, Florida confessed to murdering his roommate, after the roommate allegedly threw the suspect’s plate of food on the ground, Law And Crime reported.

    On February 12th, officers from the Fort Pierce Police Department were called to a home after someone had seen blood in what looked like a shallow grave in their neighbor’s backyard. After arriving to the home, investigators found a body partially buried in an 18-inch deep hole. According to police documents, a “foot was partially exposed.” Blood, rocks, plywood, shovels, blankets, and a pair of gloves were taken from the scene as evidence.

    Bryan Marquez, who was immediately taken into custody due to a separate outstanding warrant, confessed to the killing of his roommate, who be only knew as “Guanajuato.” In the arrest report, the 22-year-old claimed that the victim had thrown his plate full of food on the ground and had continuously disrespected him.

    Later that night, after having a few drinks, Marquez decided to approach him. The suspect says that he then began punching Guanajuato in the ribs, face, and nose until he fell. Once the victim was on the ground, Marquez says he grabbed dirt and gravel then shoved it into his mouth. When he yelled at Guanajuato to stand up, Marquez realized he was dead. Marquez then dragged his roommate’s body to their backyard, buried him, and then went inside to sleep.

    The New York Post stated that the medical examiner who performed the autopsy discovered gravel and soil that were found inside the man’s larynx, trachea, lungs, and stomach contributed to his death by obstructing his airway. As of Wednesday, Marquez has been charged with first-degree murder.

    Two Florida men were taken into custody after they were caught soliciting minors for sexual activity on social media, according to officials per Fox News

    The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office human trafficking team said they discovered Moises Escoto, a 36-year-old youth pastor, and Joel Lutz, a 38-year-old registered foster parent after a mother came forward and reported seeing alarming text on her 16-year-old’s phone. involved in connection with a human trafficking investigation, said.

    According to investigators, Escoto reached out to the victim two years ago on a chat and meetup app called Sniffies. He allegedly asked the minor for sexually explicit pictures and videos in exchange for money and gifts. Escoto is also accused of meeting with the victim and engaging in sexual acts, investigators said. He was a youth pastor at Iglesia de Cristo Misionera Mahanaim Church. He was arrested on Feb. 9.

    Joel Lutz, a registered foster parent and an employee at Outback Steakhouse, also engaged in sexual acts with minors he found on the Sniffies app in exchange for money. He was arrested on Feb. 15. 

    “It is absolutely disgusting that these two men, who were placed in positions of mentorship and trust with children in our community, used online apps to seek out and victimize our youth,”

    Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement.

    “Unfortunately, we know that predators are constantly on the hunt to ruin the innocence of our community. I urge parents to know where and what their children are doing online at all times. We will not stop searching for these deviants wherever they may be, and we ask for parents and the community to help us protect our precious children.”

    Both men were charged with human trafficking for commercial sexual activity, lewd or lascivious battery, use of computer services or devices to solicit certain illegal acts, traveling to meet a minor after using computer services or devices to solicit certain illegal acts, and other charges.

    A community in Volusia County, Florida are grieving after a toddler tragically lost his life, after finding his father’s handgun, Ledger-Enquirer reported.

    On Wednesday, February 15th, a 3-year-old boy and his 7-year-old brother were left in the care of their 16-year-old sister as their parents went to a nearby grocery store. At 6:20 P.M., dispatchers received a phone call from the teenaged girl, who told them, “My brother shot himself and he’s not breathing.” Less than ten minutes later, a deputy from the Volusia County arrived and attempted life-saving measures as they waited for an ambulance arrived. At 7:03 P.M., after being transported to a hospital, the boy was pronounced dead.

    Officials say that the 3-year-old had wandered into his parents bedroom, had gotten into a nightstand, picked up the gun, turned it towards himself, and “shot himself point-blank range.” The boy’s father, who is an employee of the Florida Department of Corrections, told investigators that the firearm is usually kept in a bedroom safe, but was moved when the electronic lock had malfunctioned.

    Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood has stated that no charges have been filed for the incident. “I cannot imagine there’s anything in the law books that can punish that family more than what happened,” he explained in a media briefing the following day.

    A 5-year-old girl had to be rushed to the hospital and given 50 stitches after she was attacked by a dog at the park, NY Post reported. 

    Florian Becker, the father of the toddler, told the outlet that his wife and daughter were walking in a Fort Lauderdale park Friday when the dog’s owner invited kids to pet it.

    “My daughter went up and pet him, and all of a sudden, the dog turned and bit her in her face,”

    Becker told WSVN. 

    The frantic mother sprung into action, attempting to yank the vicious dog off of her baby.

    “My wife was shocked and screamed, tried to pull the dog back by its collar, and the collar broke,”

    Becker said.

    “The dog attacked again, this time more viciously, and she was grabbing the dog and fighting it back, holding on to it, screaming at the woman to take control of her dog.”

    After the minutes-long struggle, the mother was able to free her child from the jaws of the brutal dog and immediately rushed her 5-year-old to the hospital. Traumatized, in pain, and covered in blood, the young girl had to receive 50 stitches and staples to her face, neck, and shoulders, reports reveal. Becker told the outlet, that his daughter was 

    “fortunate not to sustain damage to her eyes.” 

    The dog owner left the scene but was later identified by authorities, according to reports. The dog, whose breed is unknown, has been placed in animal control. It is unclear if any charges will be filed in the case.

    Florida Victim Escapes After Telling Armed Man She’d Rather Die Than Comply With Sexual Assault

    A Brevard County man was arrested after attempting to force a woman to perform sexual acts on him at gun point, a Florida police department has confirmed.

    On Friday, February 10th, a couple taking a walk in a park were stopped by a man with a handgun. The suspect, later identified as Donovan Tyler Adkins, accused them of being involved in a robbery. While pretending to be on the phone, Adkins then forced the woman to go with him off trail, and ordered the man she was with to stay put.

    After they went deeper into the woods, Adkins pointed his gun at the woman’s head and told her to perform sexual acts on him. According to The Miami Herald, woman refused to comply and told him that he’d have to shoot her. Adkins then began to expose himself, and the victim began screaming.

    “The victim’s boyfriend was quickly approaching their location in the woods which startled the suspect, causing him to trip and thereby giving the victim a brief opportunity to escape,” the Brevard Police Department explained in a statement.

    The man and woman quickly went to grab their belongings and leave, only to be stopped by Adkins once more. After dressing himself, the suspect had followed the couple, grabbed the woman’s cellphone, and fled the scene.

    Another frequent park-goer, who claimed to be “familiar with the suspect,” went to police with information, leading to the identification and arrest of Adkins later that day. The 29-year-old now faces charges of robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, false imprisonment, sexual battery, petit theft, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and resisting arrest without violence.
