Man Rescues 2 Babies Left In Ditch In Freezing Temperatures While Checking For Mail

An Indianapolis man went outside to check for his mail when he found two baby girls left in a ditch in freezing weather. Robert Deane saw two car seats in the ditch and heard the 4- and 5-month-old infants crying out.

“One of them was screaming, so I immediately grabbed the car seats, brought them inside,”

    Deane told local CBS 4.

“We got them warmed up and called 911.”

Before Deane called for help, the Indianapolis police were already alerted about a stolen 2013 Hyundai Sonata about four miles away. The two baby girls, who are cousins, were in the back seat of that car. The police had just started looking for the car and the babies when they got Deane’s call. It’s still unknown how long the babies were left in the freezing 27-degree weather or why they were alone in the car when it was stolen.

The Indianapolis police found the stolen car soon after. They are asking the public for help in identifying who kidnapped the babies, then left them in the cold.

  • Colorado Officials Intend To Kill All Coyotes In The Area Where 4-Year-Old Girl Was Attacked

Colorado Officials Intend To Kill All Coyotes In The Area Where 4-Year-Old Girl Was Attacked

Wildlife officials are searching for coyotes in southeast central Colorado after a 4-year-old girl was attacked on Thanksgiving Day, according to USA Today. The attack happened in the late afternoon in northern Colorado Springs, El Paso County, as stated by Colorado Parks and Wildlife in a news release.

The incident occurred in a neighborhood east of Monument Creek and Interstate 25, close to the U.S. Air Force Academy. Witnesses told wildlife agents that the girl was attacked when she and another child got close to a coyote hiding behind a tree, thinking it was a dog.

“The coyote lunged at the girl, grabbing the back of her head, inflicting serious injuries that resulted in an overnight stay at a hospital,”

the agency wrote in the release.

The agency learned about the attack on Friday after the girl was out of the hospital. They immediately started looking for the coyote. Since it’s impossible to know which coyote attacked the toddler, Colorado Parks and Wildlife said they will kill every coyote they find near the area where it happened. The bodies will be sent to a health lab to check for human DNA and test for diseases like rabies.

  • Man Allegedly Killed His 80-Year-Old ‘Sneezing’ Roommate For Getting Too Close To The Thanksgiving Spread, Police Say

Man Allegedly Killed His 80-Year-Old ‘Sneezing’ Roommate For Getting Too Close To The Thanksgiving Spread, Police Say

A Massachusetts man is accused of killing his elderly roommate on Thanksgiving because he felt he was standing

    “too close”

    to the food when he

    “often sneezes,”

as reported by the NY Post.

Frank Griswold, 80, went into the kitchen to wash dishes when his roommate, Richard Lombardi, 65, pushed him to the ground, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and court documents shared by WCVB.

Earlier that day, Lombardi and Griswold had a disagreement about the older man being near the food while it was being prepared. In a police interview, Lombardi explained that he was concerned Griswold’s sneezing might

    “contaminate the food.”

Lombardi told police he found Griswold in the kitchen,

    “too close”

to the food and shoved him away. Lombardi claims

“that Frank Griswold’s feet got tangled up, and he fell and hit his head on the floor,”

    WCVB reported.

When Griswold didn’t get up, Lombardi contacted 911. First responders found Griswold unconscious,

“laying face-up on the floor in the kitchen in a pool of blood,”

according to the prosecutors. The two roommates had been friends for 30 years and had lived together for over 20 years.

Lombardi has been charged with assault and battery against a person over 60, causing serious injury, and involuntary manslaughter. He pleaded not guilty and will return to court on December 4.

  • Gwinnett County Inmates Were Using Hot Water To Burn Each Other, Leading To Its Permanent Removal

Gwinnett County Inmates Were Using Hot Water To Burn Each Other, Leading To Its Permanent Removal

The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office announced that they had to take away inmates’ access to hot water machines in the jail, per WSBTV

These machines heated water to over 220 degrees and were intended for making coffee and other items from the commissary. However, deputies reported at least four cases this year where inmates used the hot water to burn each other, along with two incidents involving jail staff.

All six incidents caused serious injuries and led to more charges for those involved. The sheriff’s office mentioned they attempted to lower the water temperature but ultimately decided to remove the machines entirely.

“These hot water units are an amenity we had provided for years but, unfortunately, we had to take these drastic steps to prioritize safety and security,”

Col. Ben Haynes wrote in a statement.

Inmates still have access to hot and cold water for their hygiene. The jail is kept at a temperature of 72 degrees all year to help prevent the spread of illness, reports note.

Newlyweds Discovered Unconscious In The Street During Their Miami Honeymoon, Wife Declared Dead

A newlywed bride was discovered dead in the street weeks after her wedding while on her honeymoon in Miami, as reported by Daily Mail

Aleksandra Leczycka, 26, tragically passed away in August 2022 during her honeymoon trip to Miami. Her cause of death was determined on October 23, 2024, after a re-investigation was opened. It is suspected that the young bride died from a drug overdose or a serious allergic reaction, according to investigators.

Leczycka had come from Poland to enjoy her honeymoon with her husband, David Leczycki. The couple had tied the knot just 23 days before they were found unconscious in the street. David survived, reports reveal.

Local reports indicate that they had been robbed of money and jewelry, leading investigators to believe they were drugged and then robbed. An investigation has since uncovered evidence showing that the couple had willingly taken psychoactive drugs. Investigators in Poland believe the new bride experienced either a serious allergic reaction or an overdose.

Just hours before her death in August 2022, Leczycka shared photos of herself having drinks and enjoying time at a beach in Miami. She and David got married on August 6, 2022, and she passed away about three weeks later.

He was caught on camera attempting to steal an Audi A6 but was stopped by a security barrier. Investigators believe Crenshaw is also responsible for stealing a Kia Forte and Sorento from the Rental Car Center the day before.

  • Rudy Giuliani Goes Off On Judge Over $148 Million Defamation Judgement

Rudy Giuliani Goes Off On Judge Over $148 Million Defamation Judgement

Rudy Giuliani went off during a routine court hearing on Tuesday. Giuliani discussed his financial difficulties as he faced the consequences of defaming two Georgia election workers, per Huff Post

The former mayor of New York City was asked why he had not yet handed over the title to his 1980 Mercedes-Benz convertible, which could contribute to addressing the $148 million defamation judgment against him.

    “I don’t have a car, I don’t have a credit card, I don’t have cash,“

Giuliani blurted out during the hearing.

    “I can’t pay my bills.”

U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman reprimanded Giuliani for his volatile behavior and cautioned him to avoid outbursts during a sensitive hearing in Manhattan federal court. The 80-year-old, Giuliani, seemed offended by Liman’s disbelief that a former U.S. attorney had difficulty in obtaining a duplicate title for a car.

In response, Giuliani took the microphone and interrupted the judge.

“Your implication that I have been not diligent about this is totally incorrect,”

    Giuliani said, according to Reuters.

“Everything I have is tied up,”

    he explained.

Liman warned Giuliani’s defense attorneys that the court would

    “take action”

    if he interrupted again.

  • Weasel Caught Stealing Shoes From Japanese Kindergarten, Parents Thought Culprit Was A Foot-Fetish Pervert

Weasel Caught Stealing Shoes From Japanese Kindergarten, Parents Thought Culprit Was A Foot-Fetish Pervert

Shoes kept disappearing at a kindergarten in southwestern Japan and it turned out the culprit was a furry weasel, per The Post

Security cameras recorded the weasel carrying a small shoe in its mouth after police set up three cameras at the school in Fukuoka.

“It’s great it turned out not to be a human being,”

Deputy Police Chief Hiroaki Inada told The Associated Press Sunday.

Teachers and parents were worried that a disturbed person with a foot fetish might be responsible for the missing shoes. In Japan, people usually take off their shoes before entering their homes. The missing shoes were all slip-ons that the kids used indoors and kept in cubbyholes by the door.

Weasels are known for hiding items. The weasel scattered the shoes around and took 15 of them before police were called. The next day, it took six more. On November 11, a video showed the weasel stealing another shoe, and that footage was reviewed the following day. Authorities believe the weasel only took the lightweight white canvas shoes because they were easy to carry.

The missing shoes were never recovered, but the other shoes are now safe at the kindergarten with nets put over the cubbyholes. The wild weasel is still on the loose.

  • Uber Eats Driver Discovers Large Bag Of Marijuana While Delivering What She Thought Was A Burrito

Uber Eats Driver Discovers Large Bag Of Marijuana While Delivering What She Thought Was A Burrito

A New Jersey Uber Eats driver had quite the surprise during her delivery! Initially, the woman thought she was dropping off a burrito to a customer. However, not too long into her commute she was hit with a strong scent.

On a Friday night, the woman picked up a package that looked like a burrito wrapped in tin foil, along with a soup and a water bottle from a spot in Lindenwold, Camden County. However, while driving, she soon caught a whiff of what reminded her of marijuana.

She pulled over and contacted the police. An officer arrived and

“inspected the package curbside and determined that it was not a burrito meal,”

Washington Township Police Chief Patrick Gurcsik told 6 ABC.

“There was no meat, or lettuce or beans or rice. It was actually an ounce of marijuana,”

    he said.

Police say the food didn’t come from a restaurant, which means the suspects were probably using Uber’s package delivery service. Uber doesn’t allow deliveries of medication, alcohol, or illegal substances. So far, no arrest have been made.

Florida Man Accused Of Scamming Elderly Woman Out Of $250,000 By Pretending To Be Elon Musk

A Florida man is behind bars for allegedly scamming a 74-year-old woman from Texas into giving him $250,000 by pretending to be Elon Musk, reports Business Insider

Police in Bradenton said that 56-year-old Jeffrey Arthur Moynihan, Jr. was behind the alleged scheme.

He reportedly made a fake Facebook profile of Musk and convinced the woman to invest the large sum of money in

    “Musk’s businesses.”

Moynihan allegedly told the victim that she could make $55 million by partnering with him. Authorities say she sent him at least $250,000, but her husband claimed it might be as much as $600,000.

Moynihan was arrested on November 19 and charged with grand theft. He reportedly runs a painting and pressure-washing business in the Bradenton area. The investigation into the scam is still ongoing.
