Wife Accused Of Murder Says Her Husband Accidentally ‘Bumped Against Her’ While She Was Helping Him Inside The House, Causing Deadly Gunshot

A Texas woman is facing charges for her husband’s death, per Law & Crime. Marisol Solis Zamora, 42, reportedly said that the gun went off by accident when her husband, Miguel Zamora Martinez, 47, bumped into her while she was helping him inside their home after a night of drinking. She is charged with murder.

The shooting occurred on Saturday night around 11 p.m. in Houston. Their children, who were home at the time of the incident, heard two gunshots and saw her holding the firearm near the body, as stated in court documents.

When police arrived, they found him dead in the driveway. Initially, she claimed it was self-defense but later said it was an accident during her hearing, as reported by Damali Keith from local Fox station KRIV. At the hearing, Zamora’s court-appointed defense attorney stated that she was assisting her husband who was

“drunkenly trying to stumble from the car to the home, and that the gun accidentally discharged … as he bumped against her.”

“The possibility of this being an accident is also buttressed by one of the teenage kids who indicated that the weapon was sort of jammed, or there appeared to be some kind of malfunction with the weapon itself,”

the lawyer added. Marisol and her children told the police that there was no argument between her and her husband before the gun went off, her lawyer explained.

However, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office stated in a news release that her explanation of how her husband suffered his injuries

“did not align with the physical evidence at the scene.”

Zamora doesn’t have a criminal record and was on the path to start training to become a paralegal, her lawyer mentioned in court. Marisol Zamora is currently in Harris County Jail, and her bail is set at $100,000, according to online records.

Mother Arrested For Allegedly Throwing Hot Liquid On Her Teenage Son and A Teen Girl Over Dispute About A Phone

A mother was taken into custody after she allegedly threw hot liquid on her teenage son and a 14-year-old girl, per Law & Crime. The incident occurred on Oct 20, following an argument over a phone at a North Carolina apartment complex.

According to the boy’s uncle, Larry McDougald, a brawl broke out over a phone outside of his apartment complex on Ponderosa Drive.

“You can’t hear too much, see too much when you have 40 people around the whole step,”

    McDougald said.

“[People were] trying to escalate by throwing stuff through the windows,”

and were fighting, he told NBC affiliate WRAL.

He said when he tried to stop the fight, he saw his nephew

    “screaming”

in pain. The victim had burns on his chest. He believes the substance thrown might have been hot water mixed with bleach. An arrest warrant mentioned that the female victim had first- and second-degree burns on her chest. However, the warrant did not specify the liquid Kendra McDougald is accused of throwing.

“This turned into something I have never seen before in my life,”

Larry McDougald told the TV station.

“We need to pass things up and let them go before it escalates any worse. This is my family. I don’t want nobody hurt, period.”

Both victims were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Kendra McDougald faces charges of assault with serious bodily injury, negligent child abuse, and assault with a deadly weapon.

According to the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction, she worked as an officer at the Johnston Correctional Institution in Smithfield but resigned last week after her arrest. She started her job there in May. Police arrested her on October 24 and took her to Harnett County Jail, where she has since posted a $125,000 bond.

Cook County Corrections Deputy Accused Of Allowing Inmate To Access Her Cell Phone For Pornography and Messaging

A Cook County Corrections Deputy, Shadonna Jones, 54, faces new charges for allegedly allowing an inmate at Cook County jail to use her phone for messaging and viewing pornography, per WGN9. This comes after she was previously charged with possessing drug-soaked papers.

The Cook County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Jones after discovering she had dozens of sheets soaked in suspected illegal drugs in July. A search of her home revealed 48 stained sheets, often linked to illegal substances, along with a letter from an inmate discussing the sale of these papers for $10,000 each, with Jones set to receive $2,500 per package.

Testing confirmed the presence of MDMB-BUTINACA, a synthetic cannabinoid, on the papers. During an interview, Jones claimed she received the papers from an inmate’s family for $1,000 but denied any intention to distribute them.

The search also revealed two seized phones. Forensic analysis of the Android phone showed it was used by an inmate for accessing pornographic sites and messaging on Facebook. Records from Jones’ iPhone indicated she communicated with the inmate during her shift.

Jones, hired as a deputy in June 2019, has been on injured status since July 15 after an incident while breaking up a fight between two inmates. She was de-deputized on July 25 after her arrest. Jones was arraigned in court on both the drug-related and new charges.

Police were called after a concerned teacher requested a wellness check on the children. On February 22, officers found the apartment in

    during their visit.

“Garbage, bins and bags were strewn all over the floor,”

The children, 7-year-old twins and a 10-year-old informed the police that they had no cellphone but were communicating with their mother using Nest cameras and a tablet through FaceTime. However, the tablet was not charged or functional when authorities arrived.

When she returned, Knowles was taken into custody. During a police interview, she initially denied leaving the state, but cellphone records obtained through a subpoena confirmed she was in Florida from February 21 to 23. She explained to the police that she was in Miami to help a friend undergoing liposuction surgery.

Knowles faced two counts of child endangerment and chose not to go to a jury trial, ultimately being found guilty by Judge Joseph T. Burke of the Rocky River Municipal Court. A Northern Ireland man has received a life sentence for several crimes, including manslaughter, per CNN. He reportedly used social media to blackmail and sexually exploit at least 70 minors across various countries.

Alexander McCartney, 26, was sentenced by a judge at Belfast Crown Court on Friday for offenses related to child sexual exploitation, blackmail, and the manslaughter of a 12-year-old girl who took her own life in the United States in 2018 following a

    “catfishing”

incident, as stated by Northern Ireland’s Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Authorities revealed that McCartney posed as a young girl online, befriending his victims and coercing them into sending him nude images.

  • Florida Woman Convicted Of Second-Degree Murder For Zipping Her Boyfriend In A Suitcase

Florida Woman Convicted Of Second-Degree Murder For Zipping Her Boyfriend In A Suitcase

A Florida woman was found guilty of second-degree murder on Friday after officials reported that she zipped her boyfriend inside a suitcase and abandoned him in 2020, per CNN

Sarah Boone, now 47, claimed that her boyfriend got trapped in the suitcase and died during a game of hide-and-seek, as noted in court documents. The couple had been drinking chardonnay and working on puzzles in their Winter Park apartment. They thought

    “it would be funny”

to climb into a suitcase as part of the game, according to an arrest affidavit from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

When Boone zipped Jorge Torres Jr., 42, inside a blue suitcase, two of his fingers protruded, leading her to believe he could escape. She then went upstairs to sleep, thinking he would free himself and come join her. However, when she woke up, she found him still in the suitcase and not breathing, as stated in the affidavit.

“Evidence presented during the trial included videos found on Boone’s phone where Torres could be heard frantically pleading to be released while Boone laughed and rebuffed him several times,”

a release from State Attorney Andrew Bain’s office said.

“In the videos she recorded, the victim could be heard telling the defendant he could not breathe and asking to be let out of the suitcase,”

    the release added.

“Boone responded with, ‘That’s what you get,’ ‘That’s what I feel like when you cheat on me’ and other taunts.”

  • Jennifer Lopez’s First Husband Claims Diddy Is Partially To Blame For Their Divorce, ‘She Did Go To The Parties’

Jennifer Lopez’s First Husband Claims Diddy Is Partially To Blame For Their Divorce, ‘She Did Go To The Parties’

Jennifer Lopez‘s first husband, Ojani Noa, says that Diddy played a role in his divorce from her. Jennifer was married to Ojani for 11 months before they separated in January 1998. After that, she began dating Diddy in 1999, but they broke up in 2001.

Recently, Ojani shared his thoughts about Diddy’s connection to Jennifer in an Instagram post. He posted a list titled

    “Diddy party guest list”

with an arrow pointing to Lopez’s name. It’s unclear if the list he posted is real.

In the caption, he mentioned that his name isn’t on the guest list and wrote,

“I’M NOT ON THE LIST. To those people and media outlets asking if I ever went or participated in that Piece of Sh*t (DIDDY’S) Freak-Off Parties. No and No. Never. But my Ex-Wife (Jennifer Lopez) a.k.a (JLO) Did.. Ask Her. Oh and ask her about the SEX TAPES, The 734 DILDOS And The BABY OIL.”

He provided more details about his comments during an interview with Univision’s Despierta América, saying in Spanish,

“I put up the post asking to please stop asking me [if I went to the parties]. I didn’t go to any party, but she did go to the parties. They should ask her when you have her present, not me.”

    He then indicated that

“Part of that divorce was because of Puffy. When we were already married, when Selena came out and her career took off—she told me, ‘Papi, I want to be a singer.’ I said, ‘Mami, let’s do it. Let’s take advantage of the opportunity and take meetings with different record labels and see which one will sign you.’”

Diddy was also part of her contract with Sony and helped produce songs for her first album, On the 6, which came out in 1999. According to Ojani,

“That’s where the deception and the lying began. That’s where the separation began.”

Diddy is now in jail facing charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution.
