    71-Year-Old Woman Attempts To Kill Husband After He Received A Postcard From His Former Lover

    A 71-year-old woman from Florida has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly attempting to kill her husband. The incident reportedly occurred after her husband received a postcard from a woman he dated 60 years ago, USA Today reported. 

    The woman was arrested and taken into custody on Monday, and she now faces charges of second-degree attempted murder, aggravated battery, and tampering with a witness. According to the North Miami Beach police, the couple, who have been married for over five decades, got into a heated argument over the postcard. The suspect allegedly tried to smother her husband with a pillow and admitted to urinating on him.

    According to detectives the victim was

    “extremely fragile”

    after the attack and had

    “several serious bruises and open lacerations”

    and

    “open bite marks that were bleeding,”

    the judge said.

    The 71-year-old woman has been charged with tampering with a witness after reportedly taking the witness’s cell phone from him during the time of the attack. The woman is currently in jail without bond and is scheduled to appear in court for another hearing on Thursday. 

    The judge has ordered that if bail is granted, she is not to have any contact with her husband.

    UPS Allegedly Offered An Atlanta Mother Compensation Of $135 After Losing The Ashes Of Her Deceased 15-Year-Old Son

    A grieving mother in Atlanta is devastated after the ashes of her 15-year-old son went missing during shipment, reports WSBTV. Tangenika Lee shared her heart-wrenching story, expressing that it feels like she has lost her son all over again. 

    Tragically, Deontray passed away in 2020 due to a fentanyl overdose. In an attempt to honor his memory, Lee sent his ashes to her sister in Connecticut, who specializes in customized cremation urns. However, the package never reached its destination, despite being expected to arrive by January 10. Lee received a $135 compensation check from corporate customer service, but she refused to cash it. 

    She initially shipped the ashes from a UPS store in Hiram, and when they failed to arrive, she returned to the store seeking answers, accompanied by the police.

    “They went back into the store and they pulled cameras from January 8th, and they told me that the package had actually left their facility, there was nothing they could do about it,”

    Lee said.

    “I just lost it, started crying.”

    According to Lee, the ashes were last traced to a distribution center in Connecticut. She decided to visit the center to search for her son’s remains herself. 

    “I cremated him so he could be right here with me, and travel and do things together,” Lee said. “And he ain’t here.”

    UPS contacted Regan and said that

    “with the time constraints we had to investigate, we found the content of the package was declared by the customer as ‘clothes.’ UPS does not accept shipments of human remains. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family and our heartfelt thoughts are with them during this time. Unfortunately, the package was lost.”

    Bronx Man Arrested After Allegedly Abusing Girlfriend For Weeks, Then Taking Her To An Empty Office To Torture Her Some More, Subsequent Police Investigation Reveal Decomposing Body In His Apartment

    Former convict, Deshawn Owens, is facing serious charges after torturing his girlfriend in a Bronx office building, according to the NY Daily News. Police have also connected him to a decomposed body found in his apartment.

    Owens, who is a 30-year-old ex-convict, was arrested near Third Ave. in Mott Haven. His girlfriend, aged 28 and unidentified, was seen leaving the office visibly injured and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Owens is now facing charges that include assault, strangulation, and unlawful imprisonment in connection to the brutal abuse of his girlfriend.

    According to Bronx prosecutors, Owens had been holding his girlfriend captive since December, subjecting her to physical abuse and restraining her with cable wires in their apartment on E. 179th St. Owens then moved her to the office building in Mott Haven on January 17. 

    On January 19, the police received a 911 call reporting an assault and discovered Owens and his girlfriend in the vacant office.  The victim suffered multiple injuries, including black eyes, broken ribs, a punctured pancreas, internal bleeding, and fractured hand bones, reports reveal. 

    During a follow-up investigation on January 20, detectives found a decomposed body wrapped in fabric inside a trash can at Owens’ apartment in East Tremont. Due to the advanced stage of decomposition, the cause of death has not yet been determined.

    Detectives are now working to establish whether the traumatized woman was aware of the presence of the body in their shared apartment. An investigation into the case is ongoing.

    Starbucks Fires Barista Working Through Paramedic School Who Heroically Subdued Robbers After Getting Pistol-Whipped

    A Starbucks barista, Michael Harrison, was fired after he helped subdue two robbers who attacked him at his workplace in downtown St. Louis, per the NY Post.

    Harrison was reportedly cooperative with the robbers until one of the criminals hit him in the head with his gun. A co-worker jumped in to defend Harrison, resulting in a brawl with other bystanders and the assailants.  The robbers were eventually apprehended by the police. 

    Harrison and his co-worker were placed on paid leave while Starbucks investigated the incident.

    “I got a call a few weeks later,”

    Harrison said.

    “Once the media died down. They told me they were terminating me. I was surprised. I was distraught. I was confused.”

    According to Harrison’s attorney Ryan Krupp, the company informed both Harrison and his coworker that they had breached company policy, but did not provide specific details.

    “We were deeply disturbed to learn of this frightening incident,”

    a Starbucks spokesperson told The Post. 

    “Partner safety is at the core of how we operate in our stores, and we are so grateful that our partners and customers did not come to greater harm in this situation.”

    They went on to add,

    “Our training and protocols guide our partners to comply and de-escalate, not just for their safety but for the safety of all in the store.”

    Harrison no longer has an income and expressed that he is facing difficulties in covering his bills and tuition.

    “That job was helping me pay for college,”

    he said.

    “I just don’t understand it. I thought it was the right thing to do.”

    Krupp says that they are currently preparing a lawsuit, which will be filed within the next few weeks.

    “When the robbers came in, my client complied and tried to open the cash register when he was struck in the head by one of the gunman,”

    Krupp said.

    “At that point you’re in a position to defend yourself.”

    Kerry Pugh, a 48-year-old mother of three, tragically passed away in June 2022 after doctors mistakenly marked her abnormal pap smear and biopsy as clear, per the NY Post. 

    Despite experiencing bleeding and a history of abnormal cells on her cervix, Kerry was told that her test results were normal. An audit conducted after her death revealed that her cervical cancer test had shown signs of severe cell change.

    “I can’t begin to describe the distress and exhaustion that Kerry went through,”

    her husband Steven said, according to BBC.

    “She was a beautiful and caring person and a great mum. To see her health deteriorate as the cancer took hold of her was heartbreaking.” 

    In 2017, Kerry began experiencing bleeding after sex, prompting her to seek medical attention. In 2018, she received a routine pap smear, which she was told came back normal. Unfortunately, her symptoms persisted, and doctors at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital were unable to determine the cause of her bleeding. She was considered at high risk for contracting HPV and later underwent a biopsy, experiencing pain at the base of her spine.

    Eventually, Kerry was diagnosed with Stage 4 cervical cancer, with an MRI scan revealing a large tumor the size of a tennis ball. She underwent surgery and commenced radiation and chemotherapy, but sadly, the disease took her life. Following her untimely death, Kerry’s husband has reached out to medical negligence lawyer Irwin Mitchell to assess whether the hospital diagnosed Kerry’s cancer too late and whether he should pursue legal action against them.

    WWE Founder Vince McMahon Steps Down Amid Accusations Of Sex Trafficking, Reports Say

    Vince McMahon, the executive chairman of TKO, the parent company of WWE, has stepped down from his position amidst troubling accusations of sexual assault, trafficking, and physical abuse, CNN reported. 

    A lawsuit has been filed by Janel Grant, a former WWE employee who worked at the company’s headquarters. Despite denying the allegations and expressing his readiness to defend himself in court, McMahon announced his resignation in a statement released on Friday.

    “Out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO business and its board members and shareholders, partners and constituents, and all of the employees and Superstars who helped make WWE into the global leader it is today, I have decided to resign from my executive chairmanship and the TKO board of directors, effective immediately,”

    McMahon said in a statement.

    Since 2022, there have been ongoing reports about McMahon paying settlements to multiple women. However, a recent lawsuit filed by Grant has brought new details to light. According to the lawsuit, McMahon offered Grant job opportunities within WWE and other promotions in exchange for sexual favors. Additionally, McMahon is accused of trafficking her to other men, both within and outside the company. 

    The lawsuit further accuses McMahon of subjecting Grant to acts of

    “extreme cruelty and degradation”

    during her time at WWE. In response to the allegations, TKO, addressed his job status. In an email to staff, WWE President Nick Khan stated

    “He [McMahon] will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE.”

    It seems like Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs can’t catch a break as the well-known producer is now being accused of making threats against New York radio personality Miss Jones. 

    During an episode of her talk show

    “Pink Champs,”

    the host revealed that she had seen a video in which the musician threatened her life. Fortunately, Lil Kim stepped in and seemingly prevented any harm from coming her way. Miss Jones, although wary of potentially angering Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, cautiously shared this incident while discussing the music mogul.

    “I don’t want you blowing up my house or car or anything like that…He already threatened to put me in the trunk of a car, and it’s on tape.” 

    She added,

    “You know when we take you back into the room to do commercials? After you do an interview on the radio and we take you in the back?…he didn’t know that the tape was running. If I hadn’t heard it, I wouldn’t have believed it.” 

    Jones even placed rap star Lil Kim at the scene during the incident. Allegedly, the

    “Crush On You”

    artist supported Jones in that moment by pleading with Diddy about the threat. Lil Kim said,

    “Leave Jonesy alone. Jonesy don’t hurt nobody. Stop,’”

    she continued. Adding a moment of appreciation for the rapper.

    The latest news about Diddy is surrounded by more serious allegations against him, including claims of sexual assault, abuse, and theft. It all started with his ex-girlfriend Cassie filing a shocking complaint, accusing Diddy of years of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. Other women also came forward, sharing disturbing stories of alleged abuse by Diddy.

    Metro Atlanta Woman Finds Fugitive Sleeping In Her Residence, Reports Say

    A Georgia woman made a startling discovery when she found a wanted bank robber fast asleep in her home in the middle of the night, per WSBTV. 

    Gwynne Ketcham of Mountain Park had been closely following the news of the extensive manhunt for James Raborn, the suspected bank robber, for several days.

    Raborn was accused of robbing a bank in Roswell, engaging in a high-speed police chase, crashing his truck, and fleeing into a nearby residential area.

    Raborn broke into Ketcham’s house through a window and hid himself in her home office while she was away. Unaware of the unexpected visitor, Ketcham returned home and went to bed.

    She went to her husband’s office to check on their cats and encountered the fugitive.

    The door was blocked so she,

    “reached in and turned on the light and saw his legs, turned off the light, and left,”

    Ketcham said.

    “Something you never expect to see in your house.”

    Ketcham immediately left her home and contacted the authorities.

    “They discovered he used a computer in my house, and they had gotten a ping from that and the IP (address) led them to determine the address,”

    Ketcham said.

    According to Ketcham, the suspect was woken up by the police placing him under arrest. Both Raborn and a female companion have been taken into custody in relation to the bank robbery.

    They are also suspected of being involved in other armed robberies in the metro Atlanta region.

    Man Arrested For ‘Describing Sexual Acts’ To Child and Threatening To Shoot Students, Police Say

    According to arrest affidavits obtained by WSBTV, 27-year-old Andrew Garrett Burke has been charged with multiple felonies for threatening to shoot school children and

    “engaging in graphic written matter describing sex acts”

    to a minor he believed was younger than 16 years old.

    The arrest took place on January 21 by the Floyd deputies.

    He also faces charges for terroristic threats after threatening to

    “shoot up a school or kill a few people,”

    according to sheriff’s office records per the outlet. 

    A man named Burke is facing serious allegations, including sending inappropriate photos and videos of himself engaging in sexual activities to someone he thought was a minor. These alleged crimes took place over a span of three days, as stated in the affidavits. 

    Burke now faces charges of obscene internet contact with a child, electronically providing explicit material to minors, and making terroristic threats. According to sheriff’s records, he has been denied bond.

    North Carolina Man Dies After Stealing Plane From Flight School and Crashing Near Texas-Oklahoma Border

    A student pilot, identified as Logan Timothy James, 23, from North Carolina, tragically lost his life after he allegedly stole a plane from the ATP Flight School at Addison Airport, reports People. 

    The single-engine Cessna 172 crashed into a field near the Fannin and Lamar county lines around 8:15 p.m. According to an air traffic control recording obtained by PEOPLE, James turned off the plane’s communication systems after saying he was traveling to East Texas. 

    “I’m not going to listen to y’alls instructions,”

    he said at one point.

    Tragically, Allen lost his life in the crash. Reports from KDFW and KXAS-TV state that Allen was the only occupant inside the plane during the accident. The circumstances surrounding the crash and James’ intentions for taking the plane remain uncertain.

    ATP Flight School told KTVT,  the man killed in the crash was a

    “private pilot ATP certified student.”

    An investigation into the crash is ongoing, per the reports.
