    “doing well”

    after doctors removed her spleen.

    According to CNN Shearer said,

“Her stomach is not closed up yet, and they are keeping her on heavy antibiotics for at least 48 hours to hopefully fight off infection… Once they are sure there is no infection, they will go back in and finish up any issues and close her up.”

Kelan Washington, Payton’s father, told NBC News that his daughter was born with merely one lung; however, she is

    “as tough as they come.”

He revealed that he is furious about what happened to his daughter, saying,

“You watched her walk up to your door on accident — it’s a girl in a cheer outfit.”

Krystle Perez, an overnight dispatcher at the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office in San Antonio, has been placed on unpaid leave after her husband, Giancarlo Perez, discovered hundreds of sexually explicit messages between her and seven police officers. Sgt. Renaldo Salinas, Deputy Juan Leal, and Deputy Jason Jarvis have also been suspended and may be facing termination, after it was revealed that they had been sleeping with Perez.

“Their conduct apparently according to the investigation was found to be egregious enough to where we would issue those proposed terminations,” Sheriff Javier Salazar explained.

After finding the text messages between his wife and the seven officers, Giancarlo Perez immediately provided proof to the sheriff’s office, launching an internal investigation. The jilted husband then shared some of the text threads with a local news station, which reported that most of the exchanges were too explicit to share.

“I feel so hott and sexy when im in you,” Sgt Salinas wrote to Perez.
“I can feel it — all of it — and I love it,” the dispatcher replied..

“We need another hotel day,” the sergeant wrote, to which she replied: “Yes!!!!!!!”

Screenshots show that Deputy Leal also texted to Perez, saying, “I can’t wait for us to be naked and us caressing each other and then kissing each other ALL OVER!!!!”

  • University Cancels Student Drag Show After President Says It Degrades and Stereotypes Women

University Cancels Student Drag Show After President Says It Degrades and Stereotypes Women

The student drag show at West Texas A&M University has been canceled by the school’s president, Walter Wendler after he claimed the show’s performances mock women and expresses

    “derisive, divisive and demoralizing misogyny,”

    reports the New York Post

The president wrote in an email to students that the drag show

“stereotype women in cartoon-like extremes for the amusement of others and discriminates against womanhood.”

    He went on to write,

“Does a drag show preserve a single thread of human dignity? I think not.”

He added that the show doesn’t align with the school’s mission to

    “treat all people equally.”

“Drag shows are derisive, divisive, and demoralizing misogyny, no matter the stated intent. Such conduct runs counter to the purpose of WT. A person or group should not attempt to elevate itself or a cause by mocking another person or group,”

    Wendler said.

Although he admitted that the show’s effort to raise money for the Trevor Project was respectable, Wendler suggested that students donate to them instead. He added that the drag shows violate the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s purpose.

However, students combated against the president’s opinions as some pupils said it goes against their freedom of speech. Over 7,000 students have signed an online petition to save the drag shows.

“Not only is this a gross and abhorrent comparison of two completely different topics, but it is also an extremely distorted and incorrect definition of drag as a culture and form of performance art,”

    said the petition.

  • Houston Man Given $2 Million Bond After Killing His Daughter While Her Mother Watched On FaceTime

Houston Man Given $2 Million Bond After Killing His Daughter While Her Mother Watched On FaceTime

A Texas man is now in police custody after brutishly taking the life of his daughter as he FaceTimed his ex, who is also the child’s mother, ABC 13 reported.

On Monday, 25-year-old Deontray Flanagan reportedly picked up two-year-old Zevaya from daycare before heading to a Houston Walmart, where the child’s mother works. There, Flanagan began hitting Kairsten Watson, demanding she give him her phone and the passcode to it, or their daughter would be harmed. After she complied, he took Zevaya and left.

As Flanagan was being chased down by police, he FaceTimed Watson, showing the aftermath of their toddler being severely beaten. “Her face was just covered in blood,” the grieving mother recalled. “He hit her with something really hard, and then he called me on FaceTime and he showed me. He choked her on FaceTime. I said, ‘Tray, stop. That is your daughter! Stop! She loves you.’ His exact words were, ‘You only love that man- you did this to her.’”

While the two were FaceTiming, Flanagan was in a high speed chase. The suspect hit multiple other cars and drove the wrong way up multiple Houston roads, as deputies from Harris County Sheriff’s Office followed him for more than 30 miles. He eventually came to a stop and a standoff ensued.

“I am telling the officers, “Look at this FaceTime! Move in,” Watson said. “They sat there, and said they have to get everyone ready, and they have to put on their shields and all this extra stuff like he wasn’t killing her on this FaceTime call.”

After Flanagan was finally taken into police custody, little Zevaya was found nearly lifeless. She was then airlifted to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries, but was unfortunately pronounced dead shortly after.

Prior to his attack, Watson called police about threatening phone calls and text messages she received from Flanagan. Last week alone, she notified authorities twice, but the Harris County District Attorney’s office concluded that there wasn’t enough evidence to pursue a criminal charge.

“I told them over and over and over that something was going to be wrong,” Watson explained. “I said, ‘Are y’all going to wait until something happens to her?’”

Flanagan has been charged with first-degree murder, and although he was originally being held on a $2 million bond. Depending on the outcome of the autopsy report, he could be facing a capital murder charge.
