A Texas woman has been accused of forcefully dragging a child into a bathroom, where she allegedly shoved his face into a toilet and made him drink the water, according to police reports, per the NY Post

The child, who was under the supervision of Claudia Velediaz-Bonifazi confided in school officials about the abuse. The Woodway Police Department has since arrested Claudia in connection with the incident.

The boy arrived at school sobbing and told his teachers and counselor that he was

“dragged to the bathroom by his hair and his head was forced into the toilet where he was forced to drink toilet water,”

police said in a statement. The child also revealed that she had pulled out chunks of his hair during the ordeal.

Upon receiving the initial report, the Woodway police, along with Child Protective Services, launched a thorough investigation into the matter. It was discovered that the young boy had been subjected to several other

“violent incidents.”

The abuse included

“being punched, hit with miscellaneous objects, and not being fed for long periods of time,”

cops said.

The police stated that the child had been placed with a family member to ensure his safety. His relationship to Velediaz-Bonifazi is unclear but authorities mentioned that the child was under her care.
