Tamar Braxton Says She Called Up Toni Braxton Over Marriage Speculations
More recently, the question of Toni Braxton’s marriage to Birdman has been whispered by fans. But it took a new twist when her sister, Tamar, weighed in on the speculations. The 46-year-old set up a live video telling fans that she was interested in knowing the truth. However, there is no concrete answer from Toni.
Per The Jasmine Brand, she said:
“I WANT TO KNOW! I don’t know I came in here to ask y’all did she get married, I don’t know! I been blowing up her phone…somebody gotta tell us something.”
Whether or not the rumors are true, Tamar’s end game was to bless the longtime couple with congratulatory messages. She added that the couple have been glued to each other since forever.
Toni was not the only person Tamar contacted in search of the truth. The Love and War singer also called their mother, who she confirmed was “on the phone acting slow.”
Birdman and Toni Braxton Might Be Single
Toni and Birdman are no newcomers in terms of marriage rumors. More than once, the gossip has churned that they have finally jumped the broom, especially since Toni has said yes to the ring.
In 2021, Tamar made a post showing her sister and leading beau with the caption, “Congratulations, love birds.” This intensified words about their marriage, but neither party addressed the rumors.
But things have changed as Tamar said no to fake news. In reaction to her sister’s recent post, the Grammy winner made a post with the circulating picture of her and Birdman and declared:
“My dear friend @birdman and I are not married…never been married. We are both single.”
The post seems somewhat confusing because she referred to her beau as a dear friend while announcing their single status. Also, the duo were spotted recently during an intimate outing, so nothing about a split has been confirmed either.
