A Kansas City woman said a bodysuit from Kim Kardashian‘s shapewear line, SKIMS, saved her life after she was shot multiple times, Insider reported.

Angelina Wiley detailed the horrific event on her TikTok where she started off the video saying,

“Kim saved my life.”

Wiley was reportedly shot in the early hours of January 1st while she waited for a Lyft. According to CBS affiliate KCTV5, the 22-year-old was shot four times. Her mom told the outlet in January, that her daughter suffered a

“ruptured bladder and cracked pelvis”

as well as a bullet that is still

“lodged in her abdomen,”

according to her GoFundMe page.

The TikTok video has garnered over 700,000 views since it was uploaded on May 18.

“This New Year’s, I got shot four times. The night I got shot, under my dress, I was wearing a SKIMS shaping bodysuit,”

Wiley addressed in the video.

“It was so tight on me that it literally kept me from bleeding out,”

Wiley said about the bodysuit.

“I recommend it. I’m definitely gonna buy some more. I mean, I should wear it every day. It’s like body armor for women,”

she added.

“Call it fate or Jesus, but Imma call it Kim,”

she continued. Wiley went on to thank Kim again in the caption of her video, writing,

“No but fr, thanks Kim.”

Kardashian has not yet commented on Wiley’s traumatic experience.

The reality star sensation established SKIMS in 2019 and has seen great success coming from the shapewear company, which ultimately made her a billionaire in 2022.
