  • Mormon TikTok Influencer Taylor Frankie Paul Arrested For Domestic Violence And Child Abuse

Mormon TikTok Influencer Taylor Frankie Paul Arrested For Domestic Violence And Child Abuse

TikTok influencer Taylor Frankie Paul has been arrested and charged with domestic violence and child abuse, CBS News reported.

On February 17, police in Herriman, Utah received a call about a domestic dispute. Dakota Mortensen, Paul’s boyfriend, told police that during their squabble, his girlfriend became violent. She allegedly began slapping him, choking him, and then started throwing heavy items at him. Unfortunately, her aim was subpar and she missed, hitting her 5-year-old daughter in the head with a barstool. Luckily, her other child, a 2-year-old, was asleep in another room and was unharmed.

Despite Paul denying the accusations, security footage within the home, along with a large bump on her daughter’s head, confirmed Mortensen’s claims. In the video, Paul is seen kicking the victim, and throwing a child’s wooden playset at him, which also missed him but damaged his car.

Paul has since been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, child abuse, criminal mischief, and two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child. She is scheduled to appear in court March 21st.

“Ms. Paul’s status as a social media influencer has no bearing or impact on the investigation or outcome of this case,” the Herriman Police Department said in a statement. “All allegations of domestic violence are investigated thoroughly in accordance with state law and established criminal justice best practices to protect victims and ensure accountability.”

UK Woman Kidnapped As A 4-Year-Old Is Reunited With Her Family

In 1969, when Susan Gervaise was four years old, a couple from Scotland approached her English family with a bizarre proposition. According to Daily Mail, they offered to take the pre-schooler with them to Disney World. Her biological mother, who struggled to provide for her seven children, saw it as an opportunity for her daughter to have an exciting experience. Gervaise’s birth certificate was given to them, and she never saw her mother again.

At the time, a child could travel internationally with a birth certificate and parental permission. Her “adoptive family” then added her to their passport, and she was able to travel abroad. From the UK, they traveled to Canada and Australia, before settling in New Zealand.

“They took me to Canada then Australia and later New Zealand. This was always their plan. I lived a cherished life where I was spoiled rotten. My mum died from MS when I was 10, but even then, being raised in the hub of a travelling community I was very loved.”

Gervaise, who was born Susan Preece, had been told that she was adopted. She hadn’t learned that she had been forcibly taken from her family at 16, when her “adoptive father” confessed to his crimes. Despite knowing she had been kidnapped, she hadn’t began searching for her family until she was 56.

Now, after 53 years, Gervaise has finally been reunited with her siblings. In October of last year, for her 57th birthday, Gervaise celebrated her birthday with her remaining family in the UK. Unfortunately, her mother passed away eight years prior.

Woman Mistakenly Eats Potato Chip Worth More Than $100,000

A UK woman is filled with regret after eating a heart-shaped chip that could have won her over £100,000 , BBC reports.

Dawn Sagar, who lives in Shropshire, England, was eating from a bag of Walkers brand chips when she found one in the shape of a heart. “I sent to my friends as I found it the day after Valentine’s Day and thought it looked cute,” she recalled.

Unbeknownst to her, Walkers was holding a competition for the chip she discovered, which are referred to as “crisps” in the United Kingdom. “We’re giving away a whopping £100,000 to one lucky winner who finds the best heart shaped crisp in their Walkers packet of crisps,” the company’s website states. “Big hearts, small hearts, bubbly hearts, crispy hearts- we want to see them all!” Judges are reportedly looking for the chip that most closely resembles a symmetrical heart shape.

It wasn’t until her friends responded to the photo, telling her not to eat it, that she became aware of the contest. Unfortunately, by the time she read their messages, she had already eaten it, taking her out of the running.

A Walkers spokesperson told BBC that Sagar’s “mishap” was unfortunate, but that the £100,000 prize, equating to $120,330.00 U.S. dollars, is still up for grabs.

Suspect Identified After Video Shows Shooting Of Homeless Man: “He Just F***ing Killed Him!”

A 23-year-old man is now in police custody after shooting a homeless man in the back of the head in an execution-style manner in broad daylight, Law And Crime reported.

On Monday, February 27th, at approximately 10 A.M., Deshawn Thomas began arguing with David Saldana outside of a gas station in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. • Future Ford Vehicles Could Lock You Out Or Drive Themselves To Repossession Lots If You Miss Payments

Future Ford Vehicles Could Lock You Out Or Drive Themselves To Repossession Lots If You Miss Payments

A patent filed in August of 2021, but published last week, shows that Ford intends to build a system that would cause “annoyances” or even drive itself to a repossession lot if the vehicle owner falls behind on payments, Business Insider reported.

In the patent application, the motor company stayed that a “repossession system computer” would cause the vehicle to provide “discomfort” after a few missed payments. It would start small, and would disable the functionality of features like cruise control, GPS, air conditioning, and the radio. They’re also experimenting with the vehicle emitting an “incessant and unpleasant sound” when it’s in use.

If the owner of the vehicle continues to miss payments, Ford is considering multiple different consequences, including locking the owner out on certain days of the week, and only permitting them to use the vehicle to go to and from work until the payments have been made. In more severe cases, the company has considered making their vehicles autonomously drive itself to a place “convenient for a tow truck to tow the vehicle,” or even to a repossession agency, or impound lot. If the cost of the repossession exceeds the worth of the car, it could possibly drive itself to a scrapyard.

There’s been no news on if these changes will be made, or if it’s just to protect an idea for in the future, but no other automakers have attempted to patent anything remotely similar.

No arrests have been made after a pregnant woman was beaten and run over while trying to rescue her 2-year-old during a carjacking in Illinois, CBS News reported.

A 34-year-old had just returned to her home, when a white BMW appeared in her driveway. She had already brought in one of her small children and had returned to unbuckle the other.
