    Reports by Variety state that the actress says she is not losing sleep over her snub by the Oscars, as she did not receive a nomination for Best Actress in the movie Barbie.

    During a SAG-AFTRA Panel discussion with her co-stars, the actress instead focused on the blockbuster film scoring eight nominations, including Best Picture. She said,

    “There is no way to feel sad when you know you are blessed in doing the things you love and bringing joy to countless people.”

    She only hinted at being disappointed that her director, Greta Gerwig, did not receive a nomination in the director’s category.

    Overall, she praised all the people who contributed to the success of the movie and expressed hope that more meaningful projects would come from her in the future.

    Barbie became the biggest hit of 2023, earning $1.4 billion worldwide. Robbie said of the reception,

    “It’s just bigger than us, bigger than the industry.”

    She added that she was beyond ecstatic about the film’s success and impact.

    The film is a production of Appian Way and Makeready, with Jennifer Davisson and Leonardo DiCaprio as producers for Appian Way, and Brad Weston and Collin Creighton producing under Makeready.

    ‘Another Round’

    starred Mads Mikkelsen as Martin, along with three of his fellow teacher friends who carry out an experiment to determine how consuming alcohol daily will affect their social and professional lives.

    On the other hand, there is limited available information regarding how the English language version will approach the source material. However, DiCaprio was the first to lay the foundations after taking on the project in 2021.

    After signing a $150 million deal with Netflix, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have gone ahead to release a royal docuseries and have produced

    “I have been a Fan for a long time because her characters stay with you. I’m excited to now work alongside her as she pours all of that into Katherine Jackson: a woman who was the glue, the rock, and the heart of the Jackson family during its best and most turbulent times,”

    he said.

    Speaking on the role via her Instagram, the actress said she was speechless and honored to have been chosen to bring Katherine to life on the big screen. She said Katherine Jackson is an incredible pillar of strength and grace for the entire Jackson family. As a mother, she was selfless and endured forces beyond her control yet still managed to help build a legacy beyond measure.

    The film is set to debut in April 2025.

    According to TheVerge, Streaming services are all out to increase their subscriber base and take in streaming revenues. As a result, these two streaming giants are clamping down on password sharing to drive new subscribers to their services. Hulu has laid the groundwork to kick friends, family, and freeloaders off its services unless they can cough up cash for their subscription. This week, the company revised its Terms of Service to ban password sharing outside of

    “your primary personal residence”

    and telling subscribers they will need to comply by March 2024.

    This is not a complete surprise because if you look just down the street to their biggest competitor Netflix, they reported an increase in subscription and new customer registration base when they implemented their password crackdown last year. This has given the impetus to all industry players to move in the same direction to harness more from clamping down on password sharing.

    Disney+ will soon own all of Hulu, so it makes sense for them to streamline their operation for maximum revenue. There will be limitations on sharing your accounts outside of your household. The companies explained all this in their sales messages to all existing subscribers with a view on updating every aspect on disputes that might arise from this move.
