School Bus Attendant Arrested After Allegedly Whipping Student with Belt, Leaving Welt Marks Across His Back, Police Say

A Florida school bus attendant is behind bars for allegedly hitting a child 9 times with a belt, she now faces felony charges, Fox News reported.

Loni Covington, also known as Miss Loni, was apprehended by the Winter Haven Police Department for allegedly beating an 11-year-old boy with a belt on November 15, 2022, according to FOX 13. The child’s grandmother is the one who reported the assault to authorities after discovering belt marks on the child’s back and side. She took photos of the alleged wounds and gave them to Polk County School Transportation.

Police launched an investigation into the incident and questioned Covington about the matter. She reportedly told officers that the 11-year-old boy would not sit down on the bus after receiving multiple warnings from her, claiming that he talked back to her. Police said that Covington then asked a different student to hand over his belt, but Covington says she used it to

“hit the floor as well as the back of the seat,”

    reports state.

However, after interviewing other witnesses and looking at video surveillance from the bus police found that the belt hit the boy nine times. One of the children also revealed that Covington forced all three of the siblings to sit on a seat that was made to only hold two children which caused the child sitting at the end to fall off every time the bus turned or stopped.

“This is unacceptable behavior for anyone who works with children. We appreciate the Winter Haven Police Department for conducting a thorough investigation and helping us protect our students,”

The Polk County School Board told Fox News.

Covington was arrested and now faces charges of felony child abuse.

  • NYC’s ‘Bling Bishop’ Lamor Whitehead Allegedly Faked Bank Documents To Buy NJ Mansion

NYC’s ‘Bling Bishop’ Lamor Whitehead Allegedly Faked Bank Documents To Buy NJ Mansion

It looks like NYC’s ‘Bling Bling’ Bishop, Lamor Whitehead, is back in headlines for allegedly faking bank documents to finance his New Jersey mansion, NY Post reported.

Whitehead first gained international notoriety in 2022 after being robbed at gunpoint at his Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Brooklyn, New York during a live stream. The 44-year-old received enormous backlash from critics about his choice to sport designer labels and luxury cars. Since then, the Bishop has been having a hard time dodging the media. As of recently, he faces federal fraud charges for allegedly faking important documents to receive a quarter-million dollar business loan in 2018.

According to the outlet, Whitehead applied for a business loan and allegedly provided a

“bank account that did not in fact exist.”

The documents made it seem that his company, Anointing Management Services LLC, had over $2 million in assets, however,

“during that time period [the business] had an average ending balance of less than ten dollars.”

Reports reveal that although Whitehead did not receive the loan in 2018, he applied again in 2019 with

    “forged documents”

to receive a $1.3 million mortgage on his home in Paramus, New Jersey.

“We are going to be fighting those allegations. Lamor Whitehead will be pleading not guilty when he is arraigned on the … indictment and denies those charges,”

Whitehead’s attorney Dawn Florio told the outlet.

Back in December, Whitehead was arrested by federal agents for allegedly stealing $90,000 from one of his church members’ retirement fund, and spending it on luxury items. He was later freed on a $500,000 bond. In 2006, the pastor was also convicted of identity theft after using victims’ personal information to purchase cars and motorcycles.

The robbers quickly dispersed from the scene leaving two burned vehicles nearby.

“There was no risk to passengers,”

ONSITE! Exclusive: Kenny Lattimore Talks New Album ‘Here To Stay’, Parenthood, Career Success, and Future Goals

Kenny Lattimore is ‘Here To Stay’ as he has proclaimed in his new album title. The R&B singer/songwriter, talked about the inspiration behind his new album, his single ‘Take A Dose’ hitting #1 on Billboards Adult R&B charts after 25 years, being a new father and his wife, Divorce Court’s very own Judge Faith Jenkins.

The Grammy nominated artist said he dedicated this album to the current state of his life now and is humbled by the feedback he’s been receiving for his new single ‘Take A Dose.’

“Initially I just wanted to do some songs that were reflective of my relationship with Faith. I was like this is where I am, this is what I’m living right now and I want the world to know… ‘Here To Stay,’ the actual title the label came up with… I [thought] it was appropriate, not having any idea that ‘Take A Dose’ would be a number one song… because it was still authentic [to my life].”

Lattimore took us back to the 90s as he reflected on the success of his record ‘For You’ that hit record breaking numbers on the billboard charts amid its release in 96′, going 17 weeks at #1. The love song has resonated with many couples and graced the rooms of so many weddings almost 3 decades later.

“Starting your career out like that it was a lot to live up to,”

    Kenny said.

“The writer of that song is a gentleman named Kenny Lerum, one of my best friends from high school. He literally wrote that song for his wedding… and all we knew that it was a beautiful song and that the world should here it… We never sat down together to try to come up with something to make money… it was his personal song that I asked if I could record for my demo… I’m just happy it resonated.”

Surprisingly enough the new father revealed that he did not play the classic at his own wedding but had the opportunity of having the legendary Stevie Wonder sing ‘You and I’ as Jenkins walked down the aisle.

Lattimore has had a long-standing career making feel good music for generations and is looking forward to serving and making more memorable songs that fans can relate to.

“The fans can expect me to be dedicated to the message of love… to continue to take risks and do things that are outside of the box… My goal to myself personally is to take care of me physically so that I can come to a city and sing so people could hear me live… There’s nothing like singing live to me.”

#Clique, be sure to tune into Kenny Lattimore’s new album ‘Here To Stay’ and look out for him in a city near you.

Paris Hilton Opened Up About Years of Abuse Living at Residential Treatment Centers as a Teen, Says She Was ‘Forced To Snuggle’ With Her Abusers and Seen Patients Drugged With ‘Booty Juice’

In a recent article by The Times of London, Paris Hilton opened up about the physical, sexual, and emotional abuse she faced as a teen living in a residential treatment facility.

The hotel heiress reflected on the traumatic time in her life when she was stripped out of her bed in the middle of the night by mysterious men and placed in handcuffs. She said her parents witnessed the entire thing and were the ones who called the men to take her to a residential treatment center for troubled teens.

Hilton said she attended CEDU Educational Services, Inc. where she was subjected to various amounts of abuse including intrusive cavity searches, hours of screaming by staff and other patients and forced cuddling with the people who had abused her. They called it

    “smooshing,”

Paris said. The now 42-year-old  said she attempted to run away several times.

“I mean, think about it: On the advice of a mental health professional, you send your struggling kid to this beautiful boarding school that costs a fortune,”

    Hilton wrote.

“When the kid tries to run away, do you believe the kid who’s been royally pissing you off? Or do you believe the psychiatrist who says the kid is a crazy, incorrigible liar?”

Paris was later taken to Provo Canyon School, where she said staff

“got off on the power they had”

    over patients.

“They took us to the infirmary and made us lie on the table,”

    Hilton wrote.

“Made us open our legs for their stubby fingers. If we resisted, there was always a tray with syringes. I don’t know what was in the ‘booty juice,’ but I saw kids hit the floor the moment it was injected.”

Paris Hilton is now an advocate for ending abusive therapeutic boarding schools for teens.

  • Fired Memphis EMT Said Police Were ‘Impeding Patient Care’ of Tyre Nichols’ By Refusing To Remove Handcuffs

Fired Memphis EMT Said Police Were ‘Impeding Patient Care’ of Tyre Nichols’ By Refusing To Remove Handcuffs

An EMT who was fired in connection to Tyre Nichols’s murder has spoken out against the Memphis police claiming they were preventing them from performing patient care, NBC News reports.

Former Memphis Fire Department EMT Robert Long, who was at the scene the night Tyre Nichols’ was inhumanely beaten by Memphis officers, said officers were

    “impeding patient care”

while Nichols’ was in their custody. Long attempted to clear his name during a hearing with the Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Board on Friday.

Long detailed the moment he and another EMT, JaMichael Sandridge, arrived at the scene. Long alleged that when he arrived he was immediately notified that an officer had been pepper sprayed but did not require any medical attention. The two EMTs were later directed to Nichols’, who was allegedly

“handcuffed and propped up against a police car,”

    reports state.

Long said he documented Nichols’ injuries, which included bumps on the head, a busted lip, and a bloody nose. Long said when he asked Nichols’ what had happened, Nichols’ allegedly replied:

“I want to stand up and be uncuffed.”

    Long said,

“I asked MPD what happened with the patient and the officer stated ‘he ran from us.’”

    He added that

“… MPD [was] leaning over the patient in his face saying loudly that the patient is not going anywhere and that they are not going to uncuff him, impeding patient care.”

Long claims he made several attempts to take Nichols’ vitals but had difficulties due to

    “Nichols’ rolling away from him,”

reports reveal. Long said he eventually called an ambulance that transported Nichols’ to a hospital. Nichols’ died three days later from his injuries.

The Memphis Fire Department fired Long, Sandridge, and another EMT, Lt. Michelle Whitaker, in late January for

“violating multiple policies and protocols during their response,”

    reports state.
