Florida Woman Who Pretended To Be A 14-Year-Old, Accused Of Molesting A Middle School Student, Now Facing Additional Child Sex Charges

A 23-year-old woman from Florida has been hit with additional charges after pretending to be a 14-year-old girl online and engaging in sexual acts with a teenage boy, as reported by the NY Post

Alyssa Ann Zinger, who resides in Tampa, was arrested for the second time on Thursday when four more victims came forward. She had previously been arrested in November for allegedly having sexual encounters with a middle school student and sharing explicit videos with others. Zinger used social media, particularly Snapchat, to communicate with the minors, who attended Wilson Middle School in Tampa. The police suspected that there might be more victims involved.

Following her first arrest, Zinger was charged with lewd or lascivious battery and lewd or lascivious molestation. The recent charges include additional counts of molestation, battery, possession and transmission of child pornography, and sexual cyber harassment.

In July, Zinger and one of the victims were caught shoplifting at a Nordstrom store. While in holding she reportedly lied to police by claiming she was born in 2009. After investigating school and employment records and contacting her Tampa Publix employer, Zinger’s true identity was uncovered. The police had been investigating Zinger for about a year prior to her arrest.

  • Man Plans To File Lawsuit Against Florida Deputies Who Allegedly Shot At Him While He Was Detained After They Mistook Falling Acorn For ‘Shots Fired’

Man Plans To File Lawsuit Against Florida Deputies Who Allegedly Shot At Him While He Was Detained After They Mistook Falling Acorn For ‘Shots Fired’

It looks like Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputies had a case of the

    “Chicken Little”

syndrome. A man is suing the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s office after he claims two of their deputies wrongfully shot at him after mistaking an acorn falling and hitting their patrol vehicle for a gunshot, as reported by Fox News

This led both the deputy and his partner to unleash a barrage of gunfire on the patrol car, which had the individual in the backseat. Video footage captures the moment when one of the deputies frantically shouts

    “shots fired,”

before pulling out his firearm and firing multiple rounds at the vehicle.

The deputy involved has been identified as Jesse Hernandez, a former Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputy, who can be heard in the video saying,

    “I’m hit… I’m hit! I’m hit.”

Deputy Beth Roberts also discharged his weapon.

Even after being searched, detained, and placed in handcuffs just moments before, Marquis Jackson was still shot at multiple times. Fortunately, he was not injured. The arrest of Jackson was prompted by a domestic call made by his girlfriend, who accused him of stealing her car, threatening her, and potentially possessing a gun silencer, although its whereabouts were uncertain.

Okaloosa County Sheriff Eric Aden acknowledged the gravity of the situation, stating,

“We let the public down. I will admit — this was a very tragic and traumatic incident for Mr. Jackson. To that end — I can only apologize.”

An independent review and investigation confirmed that no long guns were used to shoot at Mr. Jackson. Deputies used long guns with bean bag rounds to help him exit the vehicle, and claimed he was not being shot at.

  • Parents Found Allegedly Passed Out Drunk On Florida Beach While Their Kids Wandered Off To A Nearby Pool

Parents Found Allegedly Passed Out Drunk On Florida Beach While Their Kids Wandered Off To A Nearby Pool

A Georgia couple allegedly fell asleep drunk on a Florida beach while their young children wandered away, according to Volusia County sheriffs per the NY Post.

The incident was captured on body camera footage by deputies, who made multiple attempts to wake Alyssia Langley and her fiancé Timothy Stephens. The footage showed the deputies nudging Stephens, who had his arm around his girlfriend.

Once the couple finally woke up, they appeared confused. A deputy asked them where their children were, and Stephens simply pointed towards the ocean while stumbling in the sand. Fortunately, the children, ages five and seven, were found safe but unsupervised, playing in the hotel pool nearby.

Langley and Stephens now face charges of felony neglect, and Stephens also faces charges for attempting to flee from police and possessing alcoholic beverages on the beach. In the body camera footage, he can be seen breaking free from the deputies and attempting to run away, before falling face first in the sand, knocking himself out.

Fox reports that Stephens is not the children’s biological father but has

    “assumed a guardian role.”

“And clearly these two clowns shouldn’t be in charge of — they can’t be in charge of themselves, let alone a five-year-old or a seven-year-old,”

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood told Fox 35.
