Tom Hollander Receives 7-Figure Bonus Meant For Tom Holland

In addition to his meeting with children who were excited to see him, thinking he is the ‘Spider-Man’ actor, only to be disappointed when they realize he’s not, ‘White Lotus’ star Tom Hollander reveals that he has once again been mistaken for the Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland, this time resulting in him receiving a large sum of money that belonged to Holland.

According to Variety, during a recent appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” Hollander recalled the time when his agency mixed him up with Holland in an email, mistakenly sending the Marvel star’s box office bonus to the British actor.

“The people in the accounts department of my agency got confused. We were with the same agents briefly. And it was a terrible moment,” Hollander told Meyers with his trademark dry wit. “I went to see my friend who was doing theater in England. I sat smugly in the audience, just having done a BBC show for $30,000 … the interval came and I checked my email, and I got one from the agency saying, ‘Payment slip for first box office bonus for ‘The Avengers.’”

Hollander thought to himself, “I don’t think I’m in ‘The Avengers,’” but he proceeded to open the email that was intended for Tom Holland.

“It was an astonishing amount of money,” Hollander said. “It was not his salary. It was his first box-office bonus. Not the entire bonus, just the first one. And it was more money than I had ever seen. It was a seven-figure sum.”

Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan’s Secretive Film Project: Insights and Studio Negotiations Revealed

Although the news about Ryan Coogler‘s next project has been minimal, recent studio negotiations have revealed some very interesting facts regarding the potential film that is set to launch in 2024.

A period vampire film, the project was once referred to as a genre movie and was scheduled for shooting. Most notably, Coogler insists on a “full worldwide theatrical release,” indicating that Netflix may not be involved in the distribution plan.

Warner Bros, Sony, and Universal are reportedly competing for the project, with Warner taking the lead, showing that there is no turning back in time.

Reports suggest that any studio acquiring Coogler’s next movie might have to grant the filmmaker intellectual property rights, demonstrating an appreciation for original storytelling in the industry. The estimated film budget is around $90 million, adding to the growing list of vampire movies in various stages of production.

  • Seth MacFarlane Disclosed ‘Ted Season 2’ Depends On Audience Appetite

Seth MacFarlane Disclosed ‘Ted Season 2’ Depends On Audience Appetite

According to The Wrap, Seth MacFarlane, the director of Ted, has chosen to leave the future of the foul-mouthed teddy bear franchise in the hands of viewers. He revealed that a second season of the Peacock series will only be made if audiences demand more.

In his interview with The Wrap, MacFarlane revealed the reason for his position.

“I think we felt after Ted 2 that maybe the appetite for Ted in that forum was not quite as ravenous as it was after the first movie. So I don’t know, there would have to be a reason to do it,” he revealed further. “There has to be an audience for something like this. You don’t want to just keep rehashing the same character if no one’s watching. I guess there’s a lot of that today anyway, but it’s not really our first order of business, there really has to be an appetite.”

However, not everyone involved with Ted feels the same way. Showrunners Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh revealed to The Wrap that they already have ideas for future seasons.

“We’re certainly open to it. I think there’s a ton more stories to explore. I mean, we have this teenage, going into early 20s young man that is going through all these experiences and also has his family around him,” said Walsh. “We’ve told, what, seven stories so far? There’s plenty of room to explore, and we’d love to explore it.”

But Walsh also acknowledged that getting the current season completed was a “lengthy process” and ultimately depends on Seth MacFarlane.

  • Netflix Aborts Halle Berry’s Sci-Fi Film ‘The Mothership’ For Post-Production Reasons

Netflix Aborts Halle Berry’s Sci-Fi Film ‘The Mothership’ For Post-Production Reasons

The sci-fi movie “The Mothership,” which features Halle Berry, is among the many movies that Netflix has decided not to release. After being announced in February 2021, the film finished shooting. However, during post-production, it experienced several delays. Unfortunately, one of the most challenging tasks was reshooting scenes that involved children who had grown up since their initial shoot.

The film, written and directed by Matt Charman, is executive-produced by Danny Stillman and Berry. Berry stars as Sara Morse, a woman whose husband has gone missing under mysterious circumstances, and she follows the path of an alien located in her own basement.

However, this doesn’t stop Berry from partnering with Netflix. She is currently filming “The Union” (formerly known as “Our Man in New Jersey“), where she shares the screen with Mark Wahlberg. Berry achieved great success with her debut film, “Bruised,” which topped the rankings in several countries. The film’s redemption theme of second chances is a subject close to Berry’s heart.

  • Boosie BadAzz Scores Snoop Dogg’s “Underdoggs” Movie Is A Hundred

Boosie BadAzz Scores Snoop Dogg’s “Underdoggs” Movie Is A Hundred

Having Boosie BadAzz giving a thumbs up to Snoop Dogg’s Underdoggs film is interesting because the MC is known for criticizing nearly every topic. Unafraid, he has earned a reputation as an unapologetic talker who speaks his mind. This is great news for comedy lovers who are struggling to decide what to watch.

Snoop Dogg’s ‘Underdoggs’ Movie Features Mike Epps’ Best Performance

Boosie BadAzz recognizes “Underdoggs,” Snoop Dogg’s latest project, as one of Mike Epps’ standout moments. The MC attended the film premiere, where he watched Mike, Andrew Schulz, and George Lopez.

Before sharing his thoughts, Boosie quickly took to his online audience to announce what was about to unfold. On X, he expressed his emotions and praised Mike.

    He wrote:

“Man, I’m at this MOVIE PREMIERE ‘UNDERDOGS.’ This movie is hilarious [smiling emoji]. This guy @TheRealMikeEpps has me crying from laughter. He’s so funny.”

In a follow-up tweet, he added:

“This is one of @TheRealMikeEpps’ funniest movies.”

Boosie, who never shies away from controversial situations, is always quick to judge his entertainment preferences. After attending a showing of Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple, the rapper admitted that he found the acting to be “gay.”

Boosie was extremely bothered by this and left the theater before the film ended. In an honest review, the concerned father shared:

“I had to walk out of this Color Purple movie (and two other older couples walked out as well). Because I had my little girls with me, and it seemed like a love story with a gay theme. The acting was good, but whoever wrote the script is pushing a narrative that goes against my values as a parent. I will not let my little girl watch this film.”

After his comment caught the attention of many fans, he faced criticism for his lack of empathy towards the gay community. Some labeled him as a homophobe. One commenter even brought up Boosie’s own daughter, Poison Ivy, who identifies as a lesbian. Despite his daughter’s sexual identity, the rapper does not support it.
