    6-Month-Old Baby Abandoned and Locked Inside Closed Day Care, 3 Individuals Charged

    According to Pennsylvania officials, three individuals have been charged concerning an incident involving a 6-month-old baby who was left alone inside a day care building, per the Kansas City Star

    The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday, March 26, that three staff members of New Arisens Childcare Solutions have been accused of endangering the child’s welfare and conspiring to commit the act. On February 1, Camron Banks arrived at his daughter’s day care center thirty minutes before its closing time, only to discover that the building was locked and without any lights, as reported by McClatchy News.

    “Nobody even knew where she was at,”

    Banks told KYW-TV. According to WTXF, the police attempted to contact the owner and manager of New Arisens, but they were unsuccessful in completely opening the steel gate that blocked the front door. Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small stated in a media briefing that firefighters were called to cut through the gate. 

    The police discovered the baby sitting in her car seat, covered with a blanket, in a dark corner, as reported by WTXF. Jessy Flores, the baby’s mother, shared with WCAU that the owner of the day care apologized but did not offer an explanation for the incident.

    “Nobody knew when she last ate,”

    Flores told the station.

    “Nobody knew when she was changed, nobody knew who she was with,”

    she said. According to WCAU, Flores reported that her daughter was dehydrated but okay.

    Woman Arrested For Reportedly Kidnapping Neighbor’s 2-Year-Old, and Locking Herself Inside Her Apartment With The Child

    Authorities have reported that a Florida woman, identified as Kim Keeling, is facing charges of kidnapping and interference with custody of a child, per Fox News

    According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the incident unfolded on Friday around 11:20 a.m. when Keeling allegedly took her neighbor’s two-year-old child and locked herself and the child inside her apartment, refusing to release the child to the rightful parent. The child’s mother, desperate to reach her daughter, broke a window in an attempt to gain access. 

    Law enforcement was called to the scene, and despite their demands, Keeling refused to comply. Concerned for the child’s safety, a deputy climbed through the broken window and found Keeling in her living room, holding the child and a rolling pin. Keeling was arrested for the kidnapping and is currently being held without bond at the Okaloosa County Jail. 

    Fortunately, the child was unharmed during the incident, as confirmed by the sheriff’s office. Keeling told deputies that she had taken the toddler from its mother to protect them from falling down the outdoor stairs.

    Florida Man Arrested and Forcibly Removed From American Airlines Flight For Allegedly Threatening To ‘Take This Plane Down’

    A Florida man aboard an American Airlines flight was put in a headlock and forcibly removed from the aircraft, and arrested after he called fellow passengers “blue-eyed white devils” and threatened to “take this plane down with all you motherf—ers on it,” reports Fox News

    The man, identified as 29-year-old Shail Patel was drunk when he boarded the flight from Tampa to Philadelphia on Tuesday and began

    “antagonizing passengers, calling flight attendants names, threatening passengers and aggressively moving through the aircraft,”

    court documents show, according to WFLA.

    The report said that after he got on the plane, he

    “began acting erratically, yelling and cursing at the passengers.”

    He’s also being accused of hitting and spitting on one of the passengers. A video of the incident shows Patel yelling an antisemitic slur at a flight attendant. Then another passenger grabbed him and held him in a headlock until they took him off the plane.

    “Prior to departure of American Airlines flight 2506 with service from Tampa (TPA) to Philadelphia (PHL), law enforcement was requested to the aircraft due to a disturbance in the cabin involving a disruptive customer,”

    American Airlines said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

    “We thank our team for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for the inconvenience.”

    Patel was arrested on charged with two counts of battery and one count of disorderly intoxication. He is being held on a $2,150 bond.

    Teenager Allegedly Commits 5 Robberies Within 24 Hours, Police Say

    An 18-year-old suspect has been arrested for allegedly committing a series of robberies in East Memphis within 24 hours, as reported by WREG News. The suspect, Broderick Sawyer has been charged with aggravated robbery.

    On March 18, multiple victims reported being robbed at gunpoint by two males. The suspects took wallets, money, and IDs. A black four-door vehicle driven by a woman was reportedly used during one of the robberies.

    On March 19, another victim reported being robbed of money and a wallet. Police located the vehicle involved and secured the house where five individuals entered.

    Four people were taken into custody. Two of them implicated Sawyer, stating he was armed with a handgun during the robberies. Sawyer admitted to participating but denied having a gun, claiming he used a butcher knife instead.

    Ohio Dad Arrested For Allegedly Harassing His Child’s School To Complain About Too Much homework, Reports Say

    A father from Ohio has been arrested for continuously contacting his child’s school to express his frustration about excessive homework, reports the NY Post. Adam Sizemore, 37, is facing charges of telecommunications harassment and menacing after making multiple phone calls to the school. 

    During one of the calls, Sizemore allegedly threatened the principal, telling him he

    “better put his big boy pants on,”

    causing the school official to fear for their safety. When the school stopped answering his calls, Sizemore turned his complaints to the Oxford Police Department.

    “He calls dispatch, I think it was 18 times, roughly,”

    Oxford Police Detective Sgt. Adam Price told the outlet.

    Sizemore can be heard on audio recordings, getting upset with dispatchers for not giving him their names. And when one of the dispatchers wouldn’t connect him directly to the police chief, Sizemore got increasingly impatient.

    “He can come to my f–king house. I pay for him. He can come to my house,”

    he told a dispatcher.

    According to WXIX, dispatchers eventually dispatched a team of officers to talk to Sizemore. He was then taken into custody on misdemeanor charges.

    Alabama Woman Arrested For Allegedly Hitting Woman With Car After Argument About A Man

    A woman from Dothan, Alabama has been arrested following an altercation in which she allegedly hit another woman with her car, as reported by WDHN News

    The incident occurred on Monday, March 18, in the 2000 block of Aberdeen Drive. According to the Dothan Police, the 25-year-old suspect, Nakeima Thomas, struck the victim with her car, causing her to fall into nearby bushes.

    The altercation arose after the victim came out of her home to confront Thomas.

    Thomas’ car became stuck in the mud during the incident. Realizing she couldn’t drive away, Thomas proceeded to break into the victim’s vehicle, stealing her keys and throwing them in an unknown location.

    She then used a piece of wood to damage the victim’s car. The Dothan Police Department released a statement stating that the incident was a result of an ongoing argument between the two women over a

    “male acquaintance,”

    reports note.

    The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.

    Thomas was arrested at the scene. She faces charges of attempted assault in the first degree and unlawful breaking into a motor vehicle. She is currently being held at the Houston County Jail on a $30,000 bond.

    According to authorities, Marion County Sheriff Corporal Jordan Tripp witnessed a 2002 BMW speeding through a red light at 100 mph late on Sunday evening. Tripp immediately activated his emergency lights and began pursuing the vehicle. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Michael Joseph Gonzalez, eventually lost control of the car and veered off the road. 

    Tripp approached Gonzalez, but he quickly fled the scene, reaching speeds of 90 mph and endangering other motorists. Despite efforts to stop the suspect, Tripp was unable to apprehend him due to the speed. Approximately 30 minutes later, other deputies located Gonzalez as he pulled into a 7-Eleven gas station. They conducted a felony traffic stop and successfully took Gonzalez into custody.

    “Post Miranda, the driver advised he had fled from law enforcement because he thought he could get away with it and it would be fun,”

    the affidavit said.

    Gonzalez was apprehended by deputies and charged with fleeing and eluding, showing a reckless disregard for the safety of others and property. He was released from jail after posting a $5,000 bond.

    A Florida man named Casey William Kelley is facing serious charges after allegedly using a fake banknote to buy a Porsche worth $140,000 from a dealership, as reported by Yahoo News.

    The 42-year-old reportedly used his own computer and printer to create a very realistic-looking cashier’s check. However, his plan didn’t go as expected.

    The dealership in Destin, Florida initially had no idea that the check Kelley provided was fake. He happily drove away with the car and title in hand, thinking he had successfully pulled off the fraud. But when the dealership discovered the truth, they immediately contacted the police.

    Kelley felt so confident about his scheme that he went to a jeweler in Miramar Beach and tried to use another fake check, this time for $61,521, to buy three Rolex watches. Luckily, the jeweler was suspicious and decided to keep the watches until the check cleared. It turned out to be worthless, and the police were able to track down Kelley and arrest him.

    The man, identified as Mitchell Vest, was charged with criminal mischief after incidents at two antique shops on Feb. 10. Among the items he contaminated were a makeup brush, an antique bottle opener, and a tobacco tent can. These items had to be discarded due to fecal contamination, costing a little over $200 in total.

    Vest, 60 years old, was released on a $100 bond following his arrest.

    Mother Accidentally Runs Over 7-Year-Old Son After Making Him Walk Home From School As Punishment

    An Alabama mother, Sarai Rachel James, 27, allegedly ran over her seven-year-old son with her car accidentally. According to The Independent, James picked up her son from school on February 9 and, learned of his misbehavior. She instructed him to get out of the car and walk home as punishment. 

    The incident occurred just a short distance from the school, with the school and their house being eight blocks apart. The boy reportedly tried to grab the door handle as the car was moving, but James accelerated, causing him to be pulled under the car and run over by the back tire. He sustained injuries and was hospitalized for abrasions.

    “It was a miracle he was not hurt worse than what he could have been,”

    Boaz Police Department Chief Michael Abercrombie said.

    According to Mr. Abercrombie’s statement to McClatchy News, investigators think the mother unintentionally ran over her son, but it was her disciplinary action that triggered the event.

    “She may not have realized he was doing that,”

    he said.

    Ms. James faces charges of aggravated child abuse, as indicated by jail records. She was granted release on a $50,000 bond. Additionally, she is prohibited from communicating with her son. Another individual, a 53-year-old woman whose identity was not disclosed by the police, was in the car during the incident. She has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was released on a $500 bond.
